Customs wait times?

Just curious if you guys have ever had long wait times at customs? I'v had a package sent from the UK at customs now for almost 5 days which may be due to the holiday season (I hear wait times can be a lot longer in December) or it's busted. The package contains hardware only and it should be a fairly small package.
If it's busted I don't really care, that's the chance we take when we order over seas. I'm just curious if any of you guys have had long wait times before your package got released.

Yes, I have had wait times that long or longer, esp. around this time of year. Cross fingers!

Long customs wait time = they selected it to inspect.

Since you know what is or isn't in it, you are the best judge if it will come through.

I have seen some of my stuff wait at customs for over 2 weeks and it was not even opened and inspected. It will eventually get to you, hopefully.

My item has spent more time waiting to be processed by Canada Post than it did in customs.

Is it coming by Postal Service? This time of year might be a longer wait.

A shipping company like UPS or DHL. You need a Customs Broker to get it into the country.

something very similar happened to my shipment, one half got processed by post canada really fast and the other half took them 3 days just to start processing... both came off the same shipment

ive had 4 packages from china...first one sat in "clearance delay", for 2 days and cleared, was opened and had juice but got to me..the last 3 sat in clearance for a week to 12 days and were all rejected...no juice in either of the last....things are tight right now

Yeah, hopefully it will get cleared, but like I said ...... I new the risk before ordering. Canada is just.....just.....lol

they are being processed by postal services right now...which means out of customs.

When its rejected,what do they do with the box?

Most China sellers write on their sites that they are not responsible for rejected deliveries.

Anyways,these were the last from there as I now discovered my main men at canvape

Usually they are sent back to the sender

Nah if you pay shipping fee again they will keep trying and eventually it will get through.

Had my BWB package stopped by customs. It was shipped 18th of November and just delivered today. Customs didn't open my package but I did get nailed on Taxes and duties of $15.40.

Just thankful I got my RY4, ejoker, Casa, and Malty. That would have been a costly seizure.

My package arrived a couple days ago after being in customs for 5 days. I was excited for the APL-A580 ...... turns out it is a piece of sh**!!!

Ya I find 5 buisness days to be the average time for them to be sitting. I just got my order from GotVapes today and it took a bit longer than usual. I know this is not GVs fault. It is a busy shipping time right now. My dad workes for canada post delivering the parcels and I havent seen him for a week now so I assume it is the same or worse at the border.

I think from today unti the 28th its armaggedon anyways...nothing gets delivered or something.

They came twice so far today! (Canada post)
