Everyone has all these mathematical equations that only a professor can understand, certainly not me so I'm asking for a simple answer for the mathematically challenged. If I mix half and half of 0mg and 11mg will I come up with a nicotine that is 5.5mg strong? Seems right to me but you all seem to know more about this than I do.

It IS that simple Harley, but...

when you refer to "0mg nic" are you saying a mixture of just VG and PG or are you refering to an e-liquid of 0 mg? If the latter, then the 0mg e-liquid WILL reduce as you describe but you will also lose half the flavor. Dig?

Here's the simple math for diluting:

ConcentrationA x VolumeA = ConcentrationB x VolumeB

So if you mix 5mL at 11mg/mL with 5mL containing no nic:

5mL x 11mg/mL = ?mg/mL x 10mL ==> 5 x 11/10 = 5.5mg/mL
