So last week I needed some new cartos and decided on 5 bloogs (which I've used before, loved them!), a 5 pack of the 510 cartomizer edition 2/revision 4's XL and a 5 pack of the same in the regular size

Blank (empty) cartomizers (cartridge + atomizer combined into a single unit) for the 510 model of e-cigarette.

I haven't tried those before but the reviews looked great...

So where am I week later? Let me show you how many Bloogs are dead

Whats going on with Bloog? I used these before they worked great... and they lasted a LOT LONGER than 1 day. Cheaper wiring for their coils? maybe a bad batch?

And just how many of the regular sized CE2 cartos are left? Well.. that one is hard to answer but...

1 of them died after less than a day of use, 3 others don't fit because the threading on them is was made either too long or too wide, or maybe the wrong thread pitch? 1 other is "kind of working" ... I used it for about 5 hours and then it became extremely difficult to get any vapor out of. And yes... the black stickers are coming off on the 4 right ones... the sticker on the left carto fell right off when I opened the tin foil package.

Here a pic of what I mean by the threads,

Neither of those fit my 510 connection... one is too long (it kind of catches the threads a bit) and the other one just falls out.

As for the XL sized cartomizers.... Well, I have 3 left in the tin foil packages that I haven't touched. The two that I opened each died after 18-20 hours of use. It was a 'sudden death' for each of them... just quit working.

This is very aggravating. Started the week with 15 new cartos... I have one Bloog left that I'm vaping on right now and 3 XL cartos.... unbelievable. The companies building these things should invest in a little quality control!

nope, not related.... :glare:

just cutting out all the variables, could have been a simple fix as the battery center post was in too far, or another reason for not making contact...
maybe the threads on the battery were dirty or worn ... who the hell knows.
having an Ohm meter and a spare battery can tell if the shatty carto was at fault for this, or just and old battery...

I've used the BLOOGS and know a hand full of others that have them and love them...

cigjunkie maybe its not the PV's fault your kit doesn't work, user error? :2cool:

dont hate me for trying to help. For all i know a simple tweak of the battery center post could have saved him from tossing a few cartos...

TallGrass any word if HV replaced your parts?
