If I have some 100% pg 11mg nic liquid and want to keep it at 11mg nic, but I want a 20/30% vg mix, would I want to use a vg with 11mg nic?

Correct, that will increase the VG% and lower the PG% without changing the nic mg ratio. But it will dilute the flavor if the juice is flavored.

Yeh, I figured it would dilute the flavor, just hope not too much. I like a couple of the Dekang flavors, ry4 and usa mix, but they are 100% pg, so I figured I'd try adding the vg, so I'll see how that works out.

I have used CVS when I run out of NOW brand, which is my favorite VG. CVS is PROBABLY VG, but may be animal based, or a mix. This is why it is just called glycerin. I have found it can have a slight plastic taste from the container, but its ok in a pinch.

Dan, long time no see around here! Maybe we've just been in different forums. Your calculator is still always up on my desktop.

I could be all wet but I'm in the camp that believes they're *all* Humco relabels :)

Saw another site that offered "Natural, Kosher, Vegan, Food Grade" VG - I don't mean to irritate anybody here, but outside of grape products something with no animal byproducts would have a tough time *not* being kosher :)

Also, check this out -

FCC Resources

...Dietary exposure to DEG/EG adulterated glycerin would pose a serious food safety concern even when adulterated at low levels. The current FCC standard for glycerin is capable of only detecting materials adulterated with significant (5–10%) levels of DEG, and flagrant replacement with other potential adulterants. To prevent the risk of low-level DEG/EG adulteration of glycerin, the addition of a GC method capable of detecting such adulterants is recommended for the FCC. Investigation into new quantitative assay methods capable of distinguishing glycerin from other potential economic adulterants is also recommended.

FCC = "Food Grade" glycerin.

OTOH, USP glycerin has less than 0.1% DEG -

Glycerin Monograph

Revision of Identification–B: Limit of diethylene glycol and ethylene glycol. In Identification test–B, the procedure will utilize methanol as the diluent and a more sensitive gas–liquid chromatographic with flame ionization detection test to verify that the levels of diethylene glycol and ethylene glycol are not more than 0.10% for each.

I'll take USP over food grade any day of the week ;)

Hey Kurt!
I have been in the modders section running co-op's on my attys I have been producing. Gearing up for the next co-op, working on a larger version of the G-tank, and the DSUv6. Pop over the the scubagen thread in the modders section and have a look.
