I was at the store today and a woman in line at the register just bought an ecig and she started using while the cashier was ringing up her order and the cashier went wild on her. She said to the customer, "Oh my you can't do that in the store" please wait until you get outside" I could have smacked the cashier in the face.

CVS here doesn't even sell disposable ecigs. I asked. They've got a whole wall of every kind of cig though.

I don't have much sympathy for the customer on this one. Using any product in line is just tacky. I don't understand why she couldn't wait 20 seconds. I wasn't there so maybe there is some tone or context that I am not getting, but I am going to side with the cashier on this one. It is like using a cell phone in line.

I'll agree with the cashier on this one as well; up to a point. "Going Off" on the customer was wrong, but asking her to not use the ecig in the store is a store based policy, and should be respected.

I ask if it is OK, and don't puff if it's not. In a crowded restaurant, I won't even ask, I just wait. We may not like it, but people are going to assume it's smoke, and it's harmful to them. They will then complain, and the shop/restaurant owners will just ban it to appease the complainers (unless they understand vaping, but what are the chances of that).

This is what's wrong with society today. People have learned that all if they act like a cry baby pee pants, they'll get their way. Similar to my 6 year old.

But my 6 year old isn't an a--hat masquerading as an adult.

Problem is, E cigs should be in an aisle by itself. As long as it hangs at the smoking section, it will continue to have a bad name, for uneducated ding dongs.

When I go shopping at Walmart it never fails, there are 20 cash registers but only 3 cashiers. Very long lines. I bust out the Boba's and make huge plumes of vape hoping a manager will show up. I want to tell them to not worry about what I'm doing and get on a register! Shopping for a half hour and standing in line for an hour gets my blood boiling. By the time I get to the checkout line I'm looking for a fight. I might get thrown out but I'm sure I'd have the support of everybody else standing in line like cattle. Probably not the best thing for vaping's image but I can't seem to help it in that situation.

The stores have a right to post ANY sign they want, don't like it then don't go back.

If a smoker sees you vaping away they might light up an analog. Grow up! Keep vaping legal while you can. If not then soon only outlaws will be able to vape.
