Looks like I need to take a run to Indy Vapor
Can you guys explain to be the difference between this and the RM2?
The deck, as well as everything else, on the Cyclone are SS where the deck is ceramic and the body and pin are brass on the RM2. The pins are set wider on the RM2 which makes it easier to build on, as does the ceramic deck. The RM2 feeds and drains from a hole in the deck while the Cyclone feeds
through the positive post. Both have very similar sized chambers and provide excellent flavor and vapor. The RM2 top cap is threaded while the Cyclone is pressed into place and held by 2 o rings. I'm sure there are other differences I'm forgetting at the moment.
You can get almost 2 RM2s for the price of the Cyclone, that along with the performance being about equal, make the RM2 the better value. The styling of the Cyclone is, IMO, sexier than the RM2, if that matters to you.
You can't go wrong either way. I'm looking forward to trying out the RM3 when it drops.
