Joe, have you tried positioning your coil like my picture above? Well off the posts.

Also running it about 1mm off the deck.

Additionally, if the wick gets sucked up and pointing skyward it'll affect the vape / tighten it up.

I find (in all situations) that very short tails on your wick are where it's at. Long tails just lame up the vape. :)

I move the AFC multiple times per squonk. I'm odd like that. SXD I haven't pulled it that far out yet. I guess I'll give that build a try.

I'm currently running 7 to 8 wraps of 28 gauge around a #54 bit. Sometimes I'll go 7 wraps around a 1/16. I had both of my RM2 opened to 1/16 but didn't want to drill the cyclone to quickly. Its cheap and easy to get an RM2 cap, not so much for a cyclone. That why I went with the 54 bit to start off.

I'll try SXD build and then jump up to 1/16 if I'm not satisfied with it.
