I always have to retighten screws after dry-firing.They seem to stay tight until the next dry-fire.

Well don't file to a knifes edge, your basically just making them blunt so they don't cut the new wire when you tightened it down.

You really don't even need a file, you could just use like 120 grit sandpaper and go over the ends with it. If you really wanna use a file, be careful not to mess up the threads and id have to say jewelers file set for sure.

I had a few problems with post screws on my RM2. The one I wrote about in this BLOG was a real irritating screw. But it works great now. None of the Screws loosen, or cut the Kanthal.

thanks Jet! I used 120 grit and just gently touched up the ends (by hand a few times each screw). The screw ends are so tiny, it's tough to see even with lots of aids). What I do notice is that the screws tighten further down and must be getting a better bite on the wire. Didn't loosen after dry burning and firing better once set up.
