I'm running a cyclone rda on a trident mech mod. 32 awg 5 wraps running at 1.3 ohms. 18650 imr battery, my question is is it normal for the atty to get pretty warm it not like burning but it is def some hear on it, the tube isn't hot at all nor the drip tip just the atty shell. Is this normal?
It's normal. I use the airflow control cap on mine (Cyclops). Which is a bit bigger than the stock cap, and it gets fairly warm also. Given the confined space and how hot the coils can get, the cap is going to heat up.
No I haven't. I bought the Cyclops at the same time as I bought the Cyclone. And since the Cyclops looks better with my Provari, I've never actually used the stock cap.
