I like Vapor4Life. I think they have the best cartos. But most of my KR808D1 batteries and cartos have been from other (cheaper) vendors. I use MyVaporStore.com frequently and have had great customer service and fast shipping from them. I have a 510 and 808D1 and just got an eGo today (tank, regular 510 atomizer, LR 510 atty, and mega atty). Still putting them through the paces, but as of right now, I still prefer my KR808D1. It seems to give me the best TH and flavor. Maybe I'm just strange - seems like everyone LOVES their eGo.

What are your thoughts on auto vs manual batteries? My D-2 is auto and I haven't have any problems with it but it seems like a lot of people prefer manual.

They are not "all pretty much the same." The best (and most expensive) is the Bloog MaxX Fusion. See my review (among others). I've also read some positive reviews of LiteCigUSA's Premium blank cartomizers.

If Bloog's $70-$90 starter kits are too pricey for you, you might want to try:

  • CigEasy's $50 Super Traveler Kit, that contains all of the above (although the cartos may not be as good) plus a 10ml bottle of e-liquid ... or

Then get some MaxX Fusion cartos ($11 prefilled, $10 blank five-packs). They are definitely worth the extra couple bucks ... although the $8 shipping costs are hefty. [Use 10% off discount codes like VDGTEN or LEAFORD to minimize the sting.]

On the Kr8, I recommend the auto batts, which are effectively implemented ... unlike the Kr8 manuals, which are not (other than the Kr8 fat batts like the Elegant).
