I'll have to pick up a few next payday when I pop for the 650 igo. Hubby has stolen the 1300 I brought home from OKC last week, and I'm just not lovin' the Echo... it's great on some flavors, but i like the way the igo hits better - like the size of the 650 better though. Searching now for a good solution for labeling flavors and carrying multiple cartos.

Damnick!, that makes two IGO kits he grabed up!

The IGO is a manual battery that has a KR808D-1 connection.

Each kit contains:

2 batteries
1 bx of 4 cartomizers
1 wall adapter/usb charger

LOL - It's only fair - I did "ruin" a perfectly good 35 year smoking habit for him. If he could only manage not to drop them - my old 1100's work fine, but they aren't *pretty* any more. Oh! And it would be nice if he could remember to put one on a charger every now and then... And I wouldn't complain if he learned to fill his own cartos... :)

Really, I'm just happy that he's not smoking any more either - I wouldn't have been able to quit without him quitting too. If that means I have to maintain a dozen batteries, then I'll just be happy you're around to sell 'em to me!

Thanks for the prompt answer on the cut off. Yeah 9 seconds sound like more the enough lol. I do have another question or two, sorry. Can you get one of the adapters they sell so you can use 510 Cartos on the Echo battery? So it would be one that went from 901 threads to the 510? Hope I am asking the right questions. This will be my first real PV ( have the cheap 7-11 e cig that I have been struggling with lol) and I am still trying to get a grasp on the terms. For example could I try the LR dual coil carts on the Echo battery for example. Or are you stuck using just the Cartos made for the Echo? Sorry to be a pain. Thanks again

Since Bill doesn't carry them, let me recommend Good Prophets for adapters for 510 cartos on the great Echo batteries. Or you can use most kr808D-1 cartos without an adapter.

The Echo batteries (the autos, not the Echo-E) don't have threads for a cone, so be careful not to bend or bang the carto to avoid breaking if you try a clearomizer or other thin carto.

But you're going to have a tough time finding anything more satisfying than the Echo cartos (or the similar Igo cartos). ;)

Do the Echo thta you sell have a cut off. I seem to remember reading that some did. Of course I have read so many post on so many models trying to decide what I want that I may be getting confused. Many thanks

My 1300 Echos (autos, not Echo-E manual push buttons) cut off after about 8 or 9 seconds. My 650 Echo cuts off at about 5 seconds. But you can take another toke immediately after cut-off on either. (Some older styles of batteries had a 10 second wait before you could hit it again.)

Edited to add
Looks like he is out of the one I wanted, despite the post above and the website saying they where in stock. Oh well . Will get one at some point. Time for plan B.

Due to the ever growing costs I regret that I have to increase the pricing on both the Echo and IGO kits. I appreciate the dedication from all my customers and hope you'll continue to come back when you need additional supplies and remember me to your friends. I will try to keep the pricing down as much as possible. Thank you for your continued business.

Raising your prices? Are you kidding me? Are you out of your mind? This is CRAZY - you can't raise your prices, HOW DARE YOU! If you expect us, your loyal customers to make up for your loses at the casino, you are out of your cat covered mind! I mean really!!!!

j/k .. about time you stopped losing money on sales. Maybe you'll start charging actual postage too, but you best send a pillow with the wife to the post office, 'cuz she's going to faint!

You still have the best prices on both kits! I doubt you'll be losing any customers over this, Bill, so don't worry -- Be Happy.

Searching now for a good solution for labeling flavors and carrying multiple cartos.

I found a really great way to label cartos.... I buy those tiny little fingernail bling stickers and stick them on the cartos. They do not come off unless you really work at it. If you think about, it you wash your hands a lot and they stay on your nails so they stick very nicely to the cartos. I buy them in the cosmetic department at the drug store. I'm sure places like Wal Mart would sell them as well.

For a carrying case I got a large sunglass hard clamshell case to carry my PVs in my purse. I can fit 3 650s with the cartos attached in a regular eyeglass case. If you get a large sunglass case you can fit a few small bottles of juice as well as some 650s. Most malls have sunglass kiosks who sell some really fun colors and designs for very cheap.

What I'm looking for myself is a skin or paint of some kind to refurbish my iGo/ECHO batteries. I love the black matt finish but it's fast wearing off and they are looking pretty dinged up. :(

Great ideas OMG!! I thought I was being smart using a "passport hard drive case" to carry mine in...now I know what to do with all these glass cases I have sitting around here. Will have to bling up my carts too!! Kudos to you!!

Have you seen this thread? He skinned his mods with automotive-grade vinyl decals:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/cosmetic-mods/200200-classy-looking-easy-vinyl-skin-mod.html

I'm considering experimenting with this on my hubby's iGo, as the finish on it is ridiculously chipped and flaking, but the batt itself seems to be fine. The vinyl is here: Metro Decals

I may attempt the fingernail stickers, I certainly have enough of them. I'm just hesitant to create a "system" that requires me to remember anything for long - but I need to find a way to label them that doesn't look as crappy as writing on labels which is what I'm doing now. I wonder if the fingernail polish pens would work? Hmmm - must try...

Think I solved the carrying-case issue today - found a makeup case made to hold brushes - it has a divided elastic strip where the brushes are supposed to go, and it's long enough to hold a 1300 with drip tip, it even has a zipper compartment that will hold extra carts and tips and even juice. It's a little big, but will fit in a my medium size purse without too much manipulating. Not exactly what I was looking for, but close enough.

Howdy all. I've been looking A LOT at iGo's and ECHO's trying to make a decision and just want a confirmation that I'm understanding everything. By the way, I'm an 808 user and would like to be able to continue using my cartos on new hardware.

So an iGo is a manual battery with an 808 thread and can be used with "most" 808 cartos. The battery starts off the charger at 4.2 V. You can also use a cone on a iGo when using a regular 808 carto. An iGo carto will not work on an ECHO.

An ECHO is an auto battery that also uses 808 threads. The battery comes off the charger closer to 3.7 V. But you cannot use a cone because there are no threads for one on the battery. An ECHO carto will work on an iGo.

And then an ECHO-e is a 510 thread that can have an auto OR manual battery.

Does that about sum it up?
Please correct me if I confused things.
Thanks.

Thanks for that link. Been hunting for something like that :)

You are quite welcome! :)

I believe that you have it correct - I also converted (at least partly) from an 808 to the iGo, and then picked up an Echo as well. Currently all 3 808 varieties are in my rotation (haven't tried the Echo-E, probably won't). I have yet to find an 808 carto that doesn't work with mine, but I do end up having to pull up the post on the carto with most of them, and on the iGo I have to screw the cartos down more tightly than I would on a standard 808 batt.
