Dad's a longtime smoker looking to switch to an e-cig.

Hi all! I've been vaping for about a year now and love it. My dad was just diagnosed with colorectal cancer and his oncologist finally convinced him to quit smoking --- and also recommended using an ecig to help him along. I currently use a Halo G6 and love it, but I wanted to know if anyone had an idea for a good analogue for Kool Milds? I thought that Halo's Tribeca mixed with a little bit of ECBlend's Spearmint Candy Cane worked, but I'd really like a second opinion. Any ecig systems other than Halo's G6 or V2's starter kit would be welcome. Thanks!

I'm thinking more along the lines of another menthol rather than Spearmint. I haven't tried the Halo menthol flavors but the Menthol Ice might work. He might just like one of the menthol flavors. I used to smoke menthols and any menthol flavor works for me. I like Halo's Twisted Java. It's menthol and coffee.

What I'd do is have him try your G6 with it filled with something you think he might like. If he likes the way it works, then buy him the G6. It's worth the $10.00 if it's going to keep him off analogs. Lots of users go to the eGo type batteries but they don't look like cigarettes and he might not be comfortable starting out like this. I know the cig-a-likes have come a long way since I first tried them. I didn't like them then so when I decided to make the switch, I bought an eGo battery and a cheap clearomizer to try. After I found the eGo, I knew I could quit smoking and did immediately. If you can get your dad to sign up on this forum, there's lots of encouragement here too.
