I can't speak for cigarman, but I can tell you I've been cleaning mine this way for months now. I make the last rinse with Everclear, but you can use the highest proof, cheapest vodka you can find. I do let mine sit battery side down on a paper towel overnight and they're dry the next day. I don't notice any smell or flavor change because... vodka evaporates . Just don't buy flavored vodka as that does leave a slight residue... don't ask me how I know....

Hi Wingsprouts! (love the name), I am sure there are many others that have used vodka or pure grain alcohol for cleaning cartos out there. Hopefully some can chime in here to help, but I'll give you my experience so far. Taste varies from person to person so what I experience may be different than you. With that said, all I taste is whatever juice I put in after a good cleaning and really good drying, either overnight or by spinning. I don't worry about it though, most of the time I'm just cleaning to change flavors or refresh it, so I clean-fill-vape right away. I doubt you'll have any issues with it. Get pint or even just a little shot sample of any unflavored high-proof vodka. I don't think it makes much difference, but again hopefully others may provide more input on this. You've got nothing to lose, so have a ball! Let us know how it works for you, Ok?

I feel better about buying some now, didn't know about the high proof kind, will look for non-flavored cheap little bottle of that. Glad you have good experience with this technique, I'm happy to try anything (...well) to get a little more life from my cartos. Until now, I was throwing new ones away if I tried a flavor in them I didn't like. Y'all are saving me bunches of money
