Damaged battery?

Putting a battery in a mech backwards means nothing as far as damages are concerned...Not good/safe practice but certainly not harmful to the battery unless it shorted out and melted down.

If the battery shows 4.1-4.2 when fully charged you're good to go.

It does nothing harmful to the battery or a mechanical mod. However, putting a battery in backwards if using a Kick in a mechanical mod, will fry the electronics of the Kick. The Kick does not have reverse polarity protection.

The majority of regulated mods have built-in reverse polarity protection. Check your owners manual or with your vendor's website to see if it is protected for this incidence.
