Thanks, BrewD. I've never experienced the phenom so I really was a bit unclear. I did some mighty Google Fu, and tho I can't pretend to have the science firmly in mind, I get the gist of it.

For anyone interested, one can Google "Can we talk about vapor/vacuum lock?" on Reddit.

I reckon you and me, we'll wait & see?

I'm game if you are. :vapor::vapor:

What do you (those of you who've had this issue) experience with vapor lock? Are you simply getting zero vapor?
Ehpro True....Zero vapor, not a dry hit. And, I have af wide open. @Brewdawg1181 , 2.5 in the True (I don’t think you could squeeze a 3 in!)... and correct, blocked is a better description than vapor locked. I’ve never had it before in any other tank, and it was random as to when it would hit. Plain weird and aggravating. It’s a bit tight for me, so I was less inclined to bugger it out.

I'm waiting and seeing too - waiting waiting waiting :D

I was more worried about the draw of the fresia not being airy enough more than anything  as for the leaking etc - the doggy rta sets that bar so high I'll be impressed if the fresia can get close to it ;)

And I'm still waiting for it to turn up

Maybe I’m one of the few that loves the Fresia?? Just put a fresh coil in. 26g, 3mm slightly spaced (not on purpose ), wick was a little long so I spread it out on the deck. A bit less wick because I had a leftover piece. Still works great.

No, you are not the only one....I love Fresia when it works... and... hate when does not... I changed O ring and for a time it works... but I will not claim problem is gone because I had periods when I thought problem was gone but it returned... I will see... maybe this time it will be different.

I also think that part of a problem can be how I vape... Fresia is so good (when it works:D) that I tend to chain vape taking pretty long draws ( 2- 3 seconds)...one after another...

Anything in particular, muth? Perhaps we can be of GPS help?
RE: The Best Vape. I don't like the constantly pulsating shop button. It's like a manic enabler for compulsive shoppers. Too many flashing things and when you want to zero in on a product all those flashing "things" get in the way and you can't see what you're doing. It's difficult to navigate to and fro. I do a lot of online shopping and this is not one of the consumer friendly sites, imo.

I read much of that Reddit post. I've never experienced this "so-called" vapor lock that many are talking about. I think it would be helpful to properly define what vapor lock is before identifying it as a problem:

Definition of vapor lock. : partial or complete interruption of flow of a fluid (such as fuel in an internal combustion engine) caused by the formation of bubbles of vapor in the feeding system.

Idk if this is helpful but in the old bottom fill RTAs you had to make sure you didn't fill the tank to full capacity. This is actually still true today with some top fills. The KF Prime top cap is designed with air chambers in it so as to prevent air pressure problems, as one example.

I agree, generally you either vape mtl or DL. Then ya get ppl like me, @NolaMel @ScottP and @Katya who like extra airy fairy mtl or RL ;)
I have to admit that I enjoy it all. From my Prime to RL to wide open. It gives me a variety that breaks up my vape day. Honestly, being female with a lung capacity that's on average 1/3 less than a male's, my wide open must be, for sure, less than a man's. Just my guess.

Must've been @NolaMel or @AngeNZ that recommended it to you, Muth. I'm pretty settled on loving my Trues and still using a couple of doggies, but they're not getting much attention. The Fresia looks nice, but more of a restricted lung machine, and I'm pure MTL.

Sorry - wish I could be of more help.:)
No problem, I got you all confused I guess.

That makes sense. If I fill the Fresia up to the top, it pushes the excess out the af when I screw the lid on. Reminded me to leave a gap for the pressure

I might just have to buy one and see for myself. Wth, won't be the first disappointment I've had. I have low tolerance for atomizers that are finicky. Once I put in the effort to get a build I like that's it, I'm done. There shouldn't be anything else to deal with save worn out o-rings. (Or broken glass, lol)

Yeah, that one bugs me...I can't figure out how any tank would randomly block the AF. That's gotta be weird, and frustrating. And you're right - I can't imagine fitting something larger than a 2.5 in the True.

I'd NEVER try to influence you but if ever decide you WANT to attempt them, pop me a note.

I'll say this much - it's all about making sure everything is tight. From the base, to the top cap after filling. The most common problem is with that last part.

If closed up tightly, I've no problems. If I forget (rare but it happens), things get wet.

You're so sweet, D, but that ship has sailed. I've tried everything--loose, tight, upside down, left-hand coil wrapped clockwise around the screws, right-hand coils wrapped counterclockwise, incense, incantations and exorcisms. The thing hates me and I hate it back.

I couldn't imagine how any tank would randomly start leaking like a sieve without any provocation or warning or apparent reason--until I got that blasted Erlkonigin.
I have/had the Erl. I returned it to the seller after taking it apart and discovering a fault in the connection. It's been so long I wish I could remember what it was exactly but there was an odd vibration when I powered it. Other than that I remember the flavor was great.
