Kind of makes the PV look like a toy now doesn't it. If the minis are doing it wait till you try a standard snus. You might just decide the whole addiction thing isn't so bad after all.
How's that for a bad influence. LOL.
Yeah, you are correct about the toy aspect Stubby. A toy I am losing a bit of interest in, however, it will remain in my arsenal. I would venture to say you all (myself included) are more MAOI addicts rather than nicotine addicts. There definitely seems to be some synergy with the nic and maoi's. Long after I had removed the snus, I would puff on the PV, and the lingering maoi's would peek out from the shadows to say "hi."... interesting

Thanks for the welcome Moe!

I however did not have the maoi thing beat. I felt like I was slowly sinking into depression even though I was chain vaping 24-36mg liquids. Within about 15 minutes of trying my first snus I felt like I suddenly found my old self again.
Several years ago, I weaned myself off antidepressants and my smoking skyrocketed! Makes me wish I had known about snus then. After many attempts with a variety of ADs, I gave up and thought, I guess it's just the way I'm meant to be.. a moody, depressed mess. Happy, perky people irritate the crap out of me (can we say crap here?).
Hi TB (one of my secret crushes), as I wrote to you, I really loved your video series and look forward to more. I am unfamiliar with the devices you mentioned: Premier, Accord, Heatbar, Eclipse. Did you try them? Gonna have to pick up an 801 for my arsenal. Why oh why has no one reproduced the totality of the tobacco experience in an e-liquid? Is it just presumed it is all about the nic?

Hi yourself TV (another one of my secret crushes)! I'm not a big talker/chatter, more of a reader/listener. I really do enjoy the humour you inject into the most serious of discussions... always manage to get a chuckle out of me. Can just imagine the tat on your forehead... just tell the Mrs. it stands for Mary Alice Olive Iverson and that you've been pining for years!

Hi Greg, I know the dental issue has been discussed before, you might do a search on it as I actually posted some of the Swedish studies with regards to dental issues and snus. It was probably my biggest concern as years of antidepressant use and smoking had done a number on my mouth, xerostomia (dry mouth) and bone loss, despite being an oral hygiene fanatic. I am anticipating getting my upper wisdom teeth out in a few weeks, so wanted to try the snus since I won't be able to suck (minds out of the gutter). I do believe the snus will be more than sufficient to meet my cravings. Gonna miss all my wisdom ;) !
Have a great night all!...eeew, a little too perky for me, I have my moments, these snus are definitely a contributing factor!

Me too. Now that I understand things better I know I don't have to live that way. Depressive tendencies and anxiety are part of me, but remain more than manageable with snus. And no, you can't say crap. Only I can say crap :D.

I try to keep the portions away from my teeth. My gum lines have receded over the years of smoking and the higher pH in the snus tend to make my teeth sensitive. I push 'em up high under the lip to stay clear of the chompers and for the wider Thunder portions I fold 'em lengthwise. As long as they clear the toothies I don't have any problems and probably won't suffer the further damage I would have from smokes :).

    Somewhere between here and there
I too can chime in on the bone loss thing. I had some bone loss due to my 23 year career as a smoker. When I first considered using snus I was very concerned with the effects on my teeth and gums. I had quite a bit of dental work done last year before I started vaping or snusing. I did not want to do more damage to my mouth. I read what I could find and did not really find conclusive results saying that snus definitely caused damage. I know that snus has been filling a void that vaping will never fill for me. I too do not let the snus portions rest on my gum line. I place them to the rear of my mouth on top and pay close attention that they don't sit on the gum line or tooth.
