How many mg of nicotine are in say... a 50ml bottle of 24mg e-liquid?

Few know that nicotine is one of the deadliest poisons known to humans. One cig's worth can kill an infant. 60mg can kill a human within a few minutes.

I think drinking any of the 50ml bottles of e-liquid would be lethal.

Do you keep your bottles stored away from children?

The "mg" means mg/ml.

So simply multiply the mg/ml by the number of ml and you have your answer.

Yes, a bottle of juice ingested in a short time can be very dangerous if not deadly. (Among a number of liquids...)

Then e-liquid IS poison. If you drank it (one swig) you would die. That's 24 multi 50 = over 100mg of nicotine. Not many other liquids can kill you just over 50ml. It's really in the top 5 of poisons.

My point was 99% don't know that and kids drink anything.

I also think most believe nicotine is harmless (since e-smoking is harmless).

I'm just saying if you have many bottles of e-liquid around you should consider it a vile of cyanide and keep it out of reach.

That may be true there, but here it is common knowledge even for children. Children too young to know better are usually protected by their parents from such hazards. (Throw in hot stoves, fire, whiskey, electrical sockets, gasoline, paint thinner, cleaning liquids, and host of other things that parent protect their children from on a daily basis.)

actually, I have seen warnings on every vendors page to keep juice away from children. I think it's a well known danger and nicotine is not made for consumption

You would have to be determined as ell to get even 2 or 3ml down let alone 50ml as bad as the liquid tastes.
And it most likely would come back up faster than it went down.
