I have a CE4+ on an ego-t with a 1.8ohm coil. My eliquid is clear. Once I've smoked a 1.6ml tank of juice, the liquid is brown, and tastes icky. I have to do a dry burn almost every time I refill, and my coils are only lasting a couple weeks. Is it my juice? or the clearo? I am totally open to changing my equipment, but I want to keep using the egot's since I have a couple that work. I've looked at tanks and cartos, but finding out what fits on my egot's is a nightmare. I'm open to suggestion. I'm a fruity flavor smoker, and smoke a 1.6ml tank in about two days.

Are you washing the head after dry burning to remove the gunked up juice that's become ash? Your eGo-T will accept anything that's 510 or eGo threaded.

Couple weeks on a CE4 isn't too bad, depending on the juice, and how you vape. The brown stuff is just burnt juice. Short dry burns are good to clean off the coils, but too much and you'll just add to the brown gunk. Sometimes I vape until its a small puddle of brown goo and then suck it out with a syringe. Refill and vape away.

I've had a lot of issues with clearos making ejuice darker and tasting pretty bad. for the most part I was just topping off the clearos, but in short order even the new fluid gets darker. you really do need to clean and dry burn once in a while to clean out the gunk. if you like the CE4, get a few of them to keep on rotation (while some are drying after a clean, the dry ones can be dry-burned and refilled) .... I've gotten a good 6-7 weeks out of some of the clearos I've had, and would still consider them usable, using this kind of method. sometimes I also find it helps, if you have a VV (I know the eGo-T isn't, but this may help others) to run them a bit "hot" ... in the sense that you run them a bit over the sweet spot you usually use, to burn off any gunk right on the coil, for 2-3 short hits that you don't inhale (because they generally taste awful)... this is a simple short term "cleaning" that probably shortens the life of the coil, but keeps them clean for a bit without having to totally empty and clean the tanks
