so I have an ego-t and am using a clearomizer (it was given to me by a friend and am not positive what it is, it 1.6ml and kinda looks like the "vision v3 clearomizers" and has short wicks) and I've only been using it for a couple weeks but I'm getting an almost burnt kind of taste in the back of my throat. does anyone know what may be causing this or every experienced this.

I just ordered a bunch of new clearos (T2 and Vision V3) as something leads me to believe it has something to do with the clearo.

Thanks in advance

Short wick have wicking problems. You need to tilt it every so often to saturate the wicks. Also have to clean them every 2? days. Also vaping dehydrates. I drink at least 1 1/2 liters per day.

Edit: have been offered short wicks for free but won't take them and I never bought clearos until the long wick came out.

Soak in PGA or hot water for a couple hours. You have to take the drip tip off and remove the small silicon cap with the metal tube first though- don't lose it. Use needle nosed pliers or tweezers to get it out. You'll than be able to see the gunked up coil. After cleaning either using a hair dryer on low and/ or do a dry burn OR let it sit overnight.

that makes some sense. when I fill it its fine for a little while then goes crappy. I definately tilt it and make sure the wicks are saturate but I have never "cleaned it." how exactly do you clean them, just soak with water and rinse?

I found that this can happen if the clear rubber part at the top is pushed down too far and covering the wick holes. If you take some tweezers and pull it up it will allow the juice to get back in and stop the burning flavor.
