Date set to talk to a reporter!!

Looks like we finally have a date to talk to my friend!
She emailed me today and said that she'd like to shoot the story next Wednesday -- I'm assuming that's the 8th.

I'm not sure of the where & time yet. I thought I'd check here and see who all could make it, and then talk to my friend on where she was thinking about doing the interviews, etc afterwards.

I'm sure they'd prefer to do it somewhere in the Milwaukee area. If I'm not mistaken, a majority of the group here are north/northwest of the county, so maybe I'd be able to gear something that way?

Who thinks they'll be able to make it? Even if you don't want to be filmed, I would encourage you to still come. Knowledge is power and there's power in numbers....

So far, only one person has stated interest. I'm going to have to call her back soon....

You know, this evening I was thinking "Hmmm....I bet we could arrange something after work hours!" LOL

I did drop her a note to let her know I got her email and I was still waiting to hear at least yahs or nays for people. I'm looking forward to her response so I can add more to this....

I'm PM my 'victims' this also, but I wanted to share with everyone, in case someone is coming late to the party....

My friend just called and she's all excited.

She was thinking the Waukesha area around 10am-ish??

She was calling on her day off & was away from home. She's going to read my emails and get back to me with a more definate time/place sometime after 7pm this evening.

If you could get her to watch this story from the discovery channel about some research going on in Canada,,, it might be helpful. It is really one of the best things I've seen about vaping. You need to go through the rocket blast and the story about the telescope first,,, but it's worth it!!

I think that was an awesome interview. One thing that caught my ear on that was when the Prof. said something about "multiple studies" that have been done.....Hmmm.....wasn't it groups in the US like the American Lung Assoc, The Heart Accoc and even Smoke Free WI that were saying there have been no studies about these? LOL

I also liked how he smoked it, mentioned it had no-nic in it, then later, in a classy way pooh-poohed the idea that people would start vaping because of it.

THX for suggesting I send her the video. Nice to know I was on the right track by sending it =)
