I don't remember where I seen it at, but some one said the litchi was very sweet and fruity. If I can find it I will post you a link.

Mace

Thanks, Mace. I would like to try more of his flavors but don't want to waste a bunch of money on flavors that I just won't like. I know it's all very subjective but some information is better than none.

Trapped within my imagination
I heard litchi was a mildly unique sweet fruit that many wont eat in real due to it being kind of a mess( slimey) but now you can vape it lol... He told me as of now hes out of the fennel, fennel in real has a licorice undertone.. rose, jasmine and lilac are all flower fragrances..Myself I'd probably vape those without enhaling all over my house as an air freshener lmao ( but, I'm sure some love them as vape)..Clove is a the spice some use on ham etc.. Has a slight tingling/numbing effect on the tongue ( how stong that would be in an ejuice I'm not sure) but, next time your in the grocery store, go to the spice isle and open a bottle ( wont matter if its inner sealed, you WILL smell it)..As for the rest of them, I have no idea..Hope this helped some...............Ivy

I may be wrong, but "litchi" might be incorrectly spelled. If I'm correct then it should be spelled "lychee". It's a fruit native to Asia. Here's a picture:
lychee.JPG

And "Raison" is a South Korean cigarette brand:
1016-0b.jpg

And "Ome" or "Ume" is a native fruit of Japan, or at least called by that in Japan. Here's a picture of the fruit:
koume.jpg

As for "Migua", if it's a literal translation from Mandarin, it should mean "Honey Dew" or some similar kind of melon fruit.

"Zaozai" also if literally translated, it should mean a vegetable type of fruit. Hard to describe, it's mostly used in Asian remedies. Sort of like a miniature tomato(but smaller) and has a unique tea like flavor. Some Chinese chefs use it to make broth for Chicken soup.

I'm assuming that since the liquids are manufactured in China, they are geared towards an Asian audience, thus the creation of these flavors. I know for a fact that lychee can easily be obtained in any Asian supermarket, so theoretically you could buy(if they are in season) some and try them out to see how you like the flavor.

Hope this helps. I've yet to try any of these flavors. Just ordered a batch recently from Eastmalls.net, they should be arriving soon.

Btw, I'm curious what your source for these liquids. Some of them are actually quite appealing to me. I don't see some "Migua","Yunyan" or "Ome" listed on Eastmalls. Nevermind, I just noticed them. Apparently some of them aren't available as part of the "Custom Sampler Special". I also noticed that the images also reflected the items. Guess having the images posted here doesn't really help much.

I've eaten Lychee 'nuts' when I was in SE asia. There isn't a whole lot they can be compared to in the west. They are a very strange fruit, but tastey!

Lychee isn't actually that exotic. Or maybe I've just seen them around too often. It's a very distinct sweetness to it. I guess, depending on what state you live in, they may or may not be as easily available. In NY there are tons of Chinese/Asian supermarkets that carry them.

As a side note, for something really exotic. I'd love to have e-liquids that had the flavoring of "Dragon Fruits". Probably the tastiest treats I've had while visiting SE Asia.

Howard, those do look interisting!

But as a pure cultural issue, I'll have to say MOST of what's in Asian supermarkets is pretty exotic. ;)

I know, since I shop there to get Thai cooking spice packets. I had a good thai friend who taught me to cook a few thai dishes, and complained endlessly about the quality of the spices to be found at Kroger.... So we got mixes at the local international farmer's market.

lol, being Asian I guess it's not exotic to me, but exotic others.
Tomatos, To-ma-toes :p

As for "Dragon Fruits" those are actually very abundant in Thailand. Here in the US(they do cultivate it, in California & Mexico) they are a lot smaller and cost a fortune. $7.00 per fruit, while I could easily get'em for $0.50 in Thailand...

Spices in Asian markets are usually sub par compared to the original place of production, but this is only logical because they are being shipped here or being mimicked here(in the US). Spices lose flavor over time, much like eliquids:); Saffron is a perfect example. They cost a fortune to get here in the US, but the taste can't be compared to when they are freshly mixed in Egypt.

I appreciate your effort to try and help me understand these flavors. I definitely know more now than I did before.:)

Is that little black bugs crawlin' around in them?

They appear to be seeds. I may be mistaken, but Howard hopefully will correct me if I am wrong.

They are indeed seeds but they are edible, much like kiwifruit. In fact, the texture is also like kiwifruit, except the taste is slightly different. It's a rather unique flavor that's very hard to describe.

Thanks for the clarification. I didn't really know that there was a different spelling of the word. Definitely good to know for future reference.

Howard, I have a dragon fruit plant, and you just made me smile when you mentioned them. I live in zone 4, so these aren't supposed to grow here. I have it inside crawling up a lamp post. It has grown 12 feet in the last year. Of course I had to trim off the stuff growing in the wrong direction. The funny thing is, for a year it has been living in 65 degree weather of my house in medium sunlight. I put it in the sunroom on a sunny day and at 80 degrees, it started to wilt! In the wild these things love it up to 100, and then just need protection from sun above that because of sunburn! I couldn't believe how well it adapted. But I digress.

I wanted to know if anybody here has tried the camel, I really want to order some, but want to make sure it's good first. We tried some camel carts from janty and it was to die for. How does David's compare?

David, if you are watching, I wanted to know if I got a special sampler pack thingy...if I asked for ONE of the bottles to be a different strength, if you could do that for me? If not no big deal.

Hi Howard and David,
Thanks for the pictures. Next time I will order Ume/Ome, cos it looks a lot like plum.

My favourite fruit in the whole world is pink guava, though, and if anyone ever sees that eliquid flavour anywhere please tell me!!!

Best,

C.

Your welcome for the images. I just happened to be familiar with some of the fruits, the images were found via google.

I have no affiliation with David or Eastmall, I'm only a customer.

I like the "pink guava" idea, perhaps someone will create that flavor someday. As far as I know I've yet to see it. Very interesting suggestion indeed.

I'm not familiar with the term Zone 4, is that in Mexico? If so,¿Dónde está?
The type of climate you describe intrigues me, but your location isn't listed on your profile.

My Mom is a gardener. Zones refer to the climates in which certain plants are able to grow. It needs to be this cold or this hot or this wet or this dry or you can't get plant X.

You find out what type of 'zone' you live it, and what kinds of plants grow in that zone, and plant those.

ahh... thanks for the clarification. You can obviously tell I don't have a green thumb.

I thought Zone 4 was a reference to areas of Mexico, where it's split into different zones.
