Hi Guys,
Im using the Davide Glassomizer on my Ego, absolutely love it. However they keep promising spare parts, besides the glass part and bottom, im needing the part that holds the glass in place. The big silver thing that is the bottom holder of the glass itself. Yes Ive damaged a couple trying to get it off. I cant find those at all, I dont want to buy an entire new davide when all I need is the glass holder. Ive emailed AnyVape several times and never heard from them. So Im thinking in their ad that shows the Davide in all its glory and how easy it is to clean and everything can be replaced is a lie? So does anyone know if they sell just the silver glass holder part?

Thanks for your time and keep on vaping.... Cheers. Sunny:)

I chewed up the base with pliers, seems to tighten itself over time and I can't get it off to refill it. Still works with no issue, just doesn't look as pretty. It's not as bad as I make it sound, but there are tiny marks on it. Other than that, I've had no trouble getting the rest of it apart to clean. I only have the one Davide, the rest are the RG line from fasttech. They are great, have had no problems with them. Have 5 of them in various sizes.

I bought two. First one died with the first cleaning when a small O ring fell out going down the drain with no replacement. Next one worked great for several cleaning then the top most O ring broke with not replacement included in either O ring bag. Now if I ever need the smallest little O rings (rarely would need one) and the large glass ones I got those both covered 10 over it is the one single one that seals below the drip tip that is gone allowing it to leak like a faucet if turned on its side. Oh and last but not least the bottom rubber ring that the piece that opens the holes is stripped requiring a new one. At any rate a great idea just not enough in thought to spare parts, hence until I see some I won't even recommend them.

Have six as I buy two at a time from a nearby b&m. Okay one is now a spare as I too ended up using pliers and cracking glass. Spare parts! The lesson learned is to unbox and check before leaving the store, especially for the higher priced items. Plus I already knew they were a chore to break down.

I just grabbed the last four Anyvape Davide mini glassomizers from Discount Vapors last night. These are the old version that strictly takes Kanger heads. Couldn't pass them up for $9 a pop. They are discontinuing them in favor of the newer version that takes Aspire or Kanger heads. Hope these work good. Really trimming down on the different types of clearos I have to be able to kep one style of head to rebuild.

I use a couple small pieces of the rubberized shelf liner material to get a better grip, the thicker type that looks almost woven.

Stuff like this: Shop Duck 14-ft x 12-in Taupe Shelf Liner at Lowes.com

(Just grabbed a quick google result for example. Check the Dollar Store :) )

Well, I have 5 of the mini Davides and, now, 8 of the PT II minis and 5 of the PT 2's and the only ones that leak are the Davides. The reason I bought the Davides were because I like the variety of the color of the glass more so than what Kanger has to offer, and they look like Kangers PT series (cloned) and use the same Kanger heads and they are cheaper (in price and in quality) but they all leak ... not from the heads but from where the glass sits in the bottom metal base. The 1st time I took them apart was to see if cleaning would fix the issue but it didn't help. Could the juice be deteriorating the o-rings? You wouldn't think so but maybe. It's not a bad leak but will drain a tank overnight so for me, I'll just stick with Kanger.:2c:

I love my Davides, but they really need to make those teeny tiny o-rings for the center post available. For the sometimes very snug fit on the base I've had good luck with freezing, or just running very cold tap water on it. Got that tip here somewhere, but I don't remember where, so I can't give credit as due. Apparently the cold contracts the metal just enough to loosen it up.
