Hello everyone,

After 20 years of rollies I've switched to an AIO set and I'm coming to the end of day one. It's been good! It's been a day of firsts. First time popping off the cap off a cartomizer, first time in years I've puffed indoors, first time since being a lad that I've not smelled like an old ashtray. I'll let you know - I've binned the rollies!

It's going to take a while getting used to this thing - it's big and it's heavy by comparison, and that caught me out today. I'm now aware that I have a habit of going hands free when I take drag or two, and I've nearly dropped it twice... but the taste ... wow ... amazing - much better than fags by a country mile. I picked up a sample of sweet, caramel, woody, hazelnut juice from Johnson Creek - their Tennessee Cured - wonderful - and I've a dozen others to try. I did try the fluid that came with the AIO but it's not my cup of tea - too strong on the lungs - which was a surprise given my filterless rollie habit.

No idea what where I need to be in terms of mg so I chose 18 for the samples. It seems okay at the moment but if anything, that's got the potential to be interesting - but I'll see how I go and let you know.

And I must mention Scott or igetcha69 as he's known online. I don't know his surname but he's the chap on youtube I've been watching for the past couple of days who does reviews of kit, juice and general vape related stuff - really inspirational - I owe him big thanks for the impartial info I've gleaned in what otherwise would have been a mine field. I'm sure he's saved me a fortune in complete .... ups. I'll keep using his codes as a gesture, but he's the guy who's taken me away from smokes - not a mean feat for a long time smoker like me.

Right, back to it - 1 cart left - it's late - so it's time for something fruity!

Good luck and welcome to the quest. You can make it. I had to launder my clothes several times before getting rid of the cigarette smell. I smoked mostly at the workbench in the garage. After several days of airing out the garage I couldn't smell cigarettes there anymore. My car still smells a bit funky, but it's getting better every day.

Luckily, it takes several weeks for your sense of smell and taste to begin to return to normal after quitting smoking. That gives you some time for the smoke stink to go away before your senses start to sharpen again.

I smoked for 35 years. 27 years in the current garage and 9 years in the car I drive.

Good luck! I made the switch last Friday. Took a day or two for my brain to accept that I was getting my fix with out a cigarette. but now its second nature. I go through a carto a day and already feel much much better! Plus the flavors are tasty. If you start filling your own catro check out the JC VG or PG sample pack. The flavors are incredible and the Rainier and Tennessee Cured are the best I've found so far.
