Hi all!

I've been taking advantage of the massive amount of information on the forum for about 2 weeks now and decided to start vaping with a Vamo 2 and Vivi Nova Clearomizers. My first package arrived two days ago and as I had planned, I smoked cigarettes up until the mail-lady came. When I got the package, I threw my half pack of cigs in the drawer with my lighter and told myself "Just in case.."

It is now day 3, and I haven't pulled that pack out of the drawer! I will probably throw them away when I get off work tonight. I don't need them anymore. Overall, the first day and yesterday weren't bad at all! A few times I had the thought of "Man, I sure would like to feel some pure smoke in my throat, that'd be delicious!" Then, i reminded myself "Ashtray smell" and picked up the Vamo and satisfied the craving.

I can't believe how easy this is. :rickroll: I haven't had an urge to smoke a cig yet today. I'm done with them, and I can say that with resolve and confidence. I'm kind of sad that it took me this long to really find out about e-cigs and put effort into it. I think most people associate ecigs with Blu or cheapo disposables. They assume it will be a waste of time. I feel we need to get the word out.

I would like to thank everyone in so far as keeping the discussions going in these threads. It's the fact that there is a knowledge base for new users to thrive on, that made it successful for me.

So, I thank each and every one of you. You have saved my life.

Chris

Congrats!

I've cut down from 3 packs a day to around 5 smokes per day. I'm confident that I'll be able to kick analogs completely VERY soon. I have some goodies in the mail that will definitely help, and my new Ego-C is a big improvement over my old KGO too.

I think I just need to quit buying the stupid analog's. I really don't think I'd have too much of a problem if I didn't keep them around the house.

Congrats! I'm right behind ya.

Great job, it has been a week for me completely smoke free. For the first few days of vaping I was still having about 3 analogs a day until last Monday night when I smoked my last. Vaping has definitely made quitting so much easier than I thought it would be. I just wish I would have done it sooner

I kept my last pack before I switched. Like you I simply quit the second I started vaping. I put the date/time on the pack with a sharpie pen and plan on keeping it as a reminder of how great it is not to be smoking. I traded one addiction for another...true...but I feel better and that's what counts
