MBV has some decent basic ones but I'm definitely getting away from them now. Tried some LorAnn but wasn't that excited. Have some TFA coming from Wizard along with a big batch of plain nic.

And just noticed Wizard is offline to move their website. The big EIG outtage really hacked a lotta people off. Wizard's bugging out...

Yeah, I noticed that just now, ran out of nic tonight and went to re-order, they're offline for at least a couple days now I'd guess..I know what it takes to move that sort of stuff between servers/datacenters and it's not a quick process.

Funnily enough I'm the opposite of you with regards to manufacturer preference, I ordered doubles of a lot of flavors, i.e. LA peanut butter and TFA peanut butter, and I'm liking the LA flavorings much better. To each their own! :)

Well, also, I'm just getting started in the DIY liquid thing. My opinions are all really tentative and subject to change at any moment. :)

Lot's of good advice and why I am nervous about jumping right in specially with steeping and certain flavors. Like HDV's White goodness is real good. Now that the coconut has had time to steep. To me that's what bothered me about it all, can't get enough of it now. I may need to sample a lot more juices out there. I canceled my wait line for Bobas bounty due to a flavor, I forget what it was now.. I only planned on making one bottle ry4 and one waffle and maybe roasted marshmallow.

Thank you.

Wizards labs was up and down Friday and Saturday early, no going on last night at all.

To my knowledge they're transferring to another hosting system, so it might be a few days before we see a functioning WL website again.... which sucks, cause I placed an order there on friday night... card got charged, so we'll see..... John at WL is an awesome guy though, so I'm not too worried.

Yet.

As you probably can tell, I like the dessert type flavors, I smoked off and on more than 25 years, and since I started vaping almost 2 months ago, I cant stand the smell or taste of the real thing. Now the big question, any suggestions on some really good juices I can make with these? I am going to get some additional flavors like sweetners and butter, but if someone can give me a good starting place that would be greatly appreciated. I have used a few e calculators to try and get my feet wet. I made my first batch this morning and am going to set them aside to steep at least for a day or so before I try them. I hope i'm not disappointed in what turns out. I made 7 bottles of juices, 12 mg nic 20% flavors and I think I made a slight error in ordering 18mg nic in VG instead of PG. Should I order NIC in PG in the future instead. Thank for listening.. Hoofy

This is awesome, keep posting, watching this one!

Yeah, there was a massive outage in a Provo UT data center that took out an unholy number of websites. Even my little one was out a day. A lot of businesses are Very Unhappy with EIG and are bailing on them. Wizard says they're moving this weekend...

Their site states they're still processing all orders received before the move, just not taking new ones during it. If your card was charged you should be in good shape.

Yeah, wasn't overly worried... I've talked with John on the phone a few times about orders (most of the time he's calling me) and the guy is awesome. I almost exclusively order my DIY stuff from them because of his customer service, and their nic tasting so clean and not peppery. I mainly DIY smoother flavors and fruits, with some bakery, so peppery nic is NOT going to work for me.

I ordered in some flavors to see about cracking a Halo Malibu-alike mostly, and needed to re-up my double RY4s...

A word of caution on the caramel Cappucino flavoring: This stuff is STUPID potent. You literally only need one drop per 10ml. And it needs a good long steep. I thought that since I like more in your face flavors, I'd try it at double what was recommended. (2 drops/10ml)

HOLY.
GOOD.
GOD.

I nearly choked it was so strong. I haven't tried it as a mixer yet because of its strength, so just use it VERY sparingly.

Just a few snippets of caution is all, and hopefully some words of advice from what I learned when I started DIY. Oh, and take notes. And see if Wizard has any patience in stock, it really helps when mixing up flavors.:p

Thank you for this info. I finally got everything and made 2 15ml batches. First being without the caramel cappuccino, didn't turn out so hot. Second following your suggestion about the car/cap. I used 2 drops to the 15ml and thought it was about spot on with some steeping of course needed. I should mention I mixed the car/cap with other flavors, vanilla bean, caramel, sweat cream and sweetener.

Thanks again for the advice. I see users saying use 10% and 12%, then I see others say don't go over 5 maybe 6 percent tops if it's tfa.

Does that hold true on the tfa flavors?

Thanks again.

What holds true is, what works for one flavoring has nothing to do with what works for another flavoring, no matter who the producer or vendor is.

I speak as a long time mixer who has recipes that range from 0.35% to 35% total flavoring.

Thank you for the advice, I just learned this yesterday. Realizing now I need to up the mg's on my Nicotine solution.

Made this yesterday, 15ml Bottle of

Double RY4 - 15%
Hazelnut - 8%
Caramel - 5%
Vanilla Bean ice cream - 5%
Ethyl Maltol - 3%
Sweet Cream - 3%
USA Red tobacco - 1%

I Think the below recipe would be awesome. I did add a drop and a half of coconut to 1.5ml's of my final batch to the above recipe. It was good but missing something. Why I think the below would be pretty decent.

RY4 Double
Bavarian Banana Cream (need to order myself)
White chocolate (need to order myself)
Caramel Candy (need to order myself)
Coconut extra concentrate
Ethyl Maltol
