Think I'll wait due to Kangers dedication to the retail market.:)

too bad they didn't improve the bottom -less air holes than the first one would have been nice. 4 holes are too many so it's still going to be an airy draw. I get that English isn't your first language so I am not criticizing you for that, but you spent 4 minutes on a video you could have done in 1 1/2 minutes- too much dead air time. people should really think beforehand what they are going to say and then SAY it, not search for what they want to say on camera. not just you, but most who do videos.

First - That is the OWNER of Kanger doing the video
Second - Kanger is moving forward with Evod heads only - for ProTank/Evod use.
Third. It is the coil head Base diameter that causes airy draw, not the holes.
If it was the holes, placing the thicker base evod head in a protank would not make a difference.
Reduced air space= tighter draw

I don't mind the airy draw on the protank, it can be an easy fix with tape or even an airflow controller, my issue is the glue holding the tank together. After reading about the problems, I inspected mine and can see the tank falling apart. Stopped using it and never gave a second thought about ordering a new one. The new one would solve this problem, but would it leak? I really like that it can totally come apart to clean. If the new protank doesn't have a leaking issue I'll get one.

A local vendor here in st Louis posted a letter from Kanger on our local FB group. It said that the Evod heads were being replaced by the Protank heads. Did you hear that from Kanger. I would rather that the Protank heads go and not the Evod heads. I definitely prefer the Evod heads.

I think you have it wrong- kanger is going to ONE coil- the protank coil not the evod coil. at least, that's what eric at discount vapors said at his website. thatis why I ordered a bunch of evod coils - I like them in my protank and evods better than the protank coils.

That would be correct

1. I don't care who he is , I care about what he says and how he says it. does being the owner endow him with special speaking skills?
2. as I said before, they are going to the protank coils not the evod coils.
3. what does the wide base have to do with air flow? the air is drawn up through the holes in the base up to the coil and then up through the shaft. the width of the base has no bearing- why else would people plug the holes with toothpicks , tape, etc.? or why would they add an outside o-ring around the base where it meets the device unless it restricts air? the base could be as wide as a football field and the air would still come up through the holes and up through the shaft.
