I use carto tanks...prefer a cooler vape...and chain vape. I use single coil cartos double punched (vertical...one higher than tne other) despite the fact my juice is 85pg/15vg and thin. It works because I do chain. I like annodized aluminum tips best. I use 2 ohm cartos and set my PWM VV Gripper and Ovale V8s at about 3.2. Found I did have to reduce the percentage in my DIY flavors though. My menthol was coming across too strong unless I did that...even at only 3 volts. Now things are good...not too hot and the flavor and vape is just the way I like it!
So I just got a pack of 1.5 ohm DCT carts, curious to see the difference. Went for single coil and both places I went to did not carry them. Oh, and the new carts have 2 holes instead of 1....so with the lower ohms I need to keep the voltage lower, right??
Ok..........now I'm trying the 1.5 ohm dual coil with 2 punched holes. Still getting the hot tip!!!! I swapped out the standard tip that came with the tank to one that came with the vivi nova. Still getting hot!!!! Vmax set to 3 volts and hot tip hot tip hot tip. HELP!!!
