So I just made my transition from Blu to Lavatube (L-Rider brand) a few days ago. I found a local retailer and I was able to go in and get my entire kit. My question is in reference to my dual coil tank. I am not sure of the brand of the tank, as the lady who sold it to me wasn't sure either, but from browing online it looks like a standard 2-3mL DCT. I currently have it filled with some mocha juice, but recently picked up my second flavor, Mtn Dew. At the store, she told me my best bet was to buy a new tank for each flavor I want. This is because the metal tube in the center holds a good deal of liquid, even after the tank has been dumped out, and I would experience a signifigant flavor bleed. My question is: couldn't I just buy a replacement tube (cartomizer) for each flavor and re-use the same tank? Thanks in advance!

yes. easily. just wash the tank and change the cart. you could even boil out the cart and reuse it if you wanted. the only downfall is it can can get a bit tedious if you're constantly switching flavors.

oh, and MyVaporStore sells empty tanks for $4something - 3.5 and 6mL and 5 carts for like $10. beats buying a $15 tank every time you feel like switching flavors.

i dont recommend washing a carto for a dct setup.... it will increase the risk of mold and bacteria growing in there. which is something i personally dont want to be vaping on. Plus with the cartos being just a few bucks a pop. i would just simply use a couple rotated during the day for each flavor change. then when i go back to the old flavor i go back to the old carto. now i have a few dct's so i just keep my fav's in those and use ce2's or drip atties for the rest of my juices

btw thanks for the recommendation on the site to buy from. im well stocked but my buddy is gonna be visiting in a few weeks and if he likes the dct's i will mention it too him.

if you tend to use flavors that can compliment each other you can just go ahead and fill the tank with the new flavor, and not have to worry about changing stuff out or cleaning this and that, heck you might even create a new favorite flavor.this is what i do personally and have had great flavors come from 2 not so great ones.

give it a try you might surprise yourself:)
