So I got my (first VV) SS Vtube yesterday. WOW. Really nice.

Unfortunately, I only got a few 3 ohm atomizers with it, and they forgot the syringe to to fill the clreaomizers(any way to fill without?), so I am going to order some more from Crystal Clear vaping.

I read through this thread(most of it):
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ccessories-them-post-your-questions-here.html

and especially this post by orachel :

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...hem-post-your-questions-here.html#post5966858

I can't post in the thread yet:)mad:) so hopefully I can get some help here...:)

Right now I have the following in my cart based upon her suggestions:

3 BOX BUNDLE DEAL 510 SMOKTECH 1.7 ohm XL (15 RESURRECTORS)

3 BOX BUNDLE DEAL 510 BOGE 50MM (XL) 2.0 & 3.0 ohm STAINLESS STEEL (15 CARTOMISERS)

I also wanted to get a decent tank, so I picked this one:

3.5mL POLISHED ALUMINUM COLORED TUBE DCT

Is it any good? Is there one from somewhere else?

I would rather run it at three ohms. Which of these should I buy, or should I get something else?

Thanks!

Hi. Congrats on your LT. You're gonna love it, but a couple things to keep in mind.
The version 1 has a 2.5 amp limit. There's no sense going under 2.5-3ohms with it. It'll just restrict the voltages you can use. So, whatever you stick on the end of your LT, stay as close to 2.5-3ohms as you can.

So.. Ditch the 1.7ohm Ressurrectors. Those are great with an eGo or kGo, not a LT. They'll work, but only at about <4V.
There's really no reason to use them.

The 3 box bundle of Boge is good, but get 3ohm, not 2ohm, for the same reason.

You can get a 5 box bundle at Surevapes.com for about $3 more.

The tank is nothing special. I'd recommend scrapping it and getting a Vivi Nova 2.5, replaceable head tank system with a spare 2.8ohm head. Replaceable heads are $1.49. and last way longer than any carto, taste better and don't gunk up.
The Vivi way better than a DCT with no cartos to buy, punch or fiddle with. You can even re-coil the heads if you want.
The tanks are crack resistant and you can get colored metal ones cheap.
It's the best tank going for under $15, especially with re-coilable heads. So simple a monkey could do it.
Gotvapes.com has the brand new ones in stock right now.

If you got the same SS tube that I have it is a V1 with a 2.5amp limit, and will not do well with the DCC's. So I would skip those. I would also pass on that Smoktech tank, there are far better ones to choose from. I use J-tanks from Electronicstix.com. They will also allow you to use the normal (35mm) cartos instead of having to use XL (45mm) cartos.
With the Smoktech tank you are pretty much stuck paying extra for predrilled XL cartos because punched cartos wont slide through the end caps, so it doesn't take all that long to make up for the difference in cost in tanks.

So my shopping list would be something like:
*2 AW IMR 18650 bats from SuperTmanufacturing
*Trustfire TR-001 charger (I would never trust that cheapass charger that comes with a LT)
*3 box bundle of 3ohm Boge cartos
    *J-tank from Electronicstix
    *Ming or Knucklehead drip tip
    *Drip shield from Empiremods

    * and probably a Vision Viva Nova for something to play with.

I'd like to propose an improvement to the battery suggestion of tj above.

Orbtronic.com has the Panasonic CGR18650CH 2250mah battery for $8 shipped. This battery beats the AW 18650 in every measurable way. There is detailed documentation in a long thread in the Lavatube forum. There is no better safe(r) chemistry battery available anywhere and it costs less than the AW, which is a rebranded sanyo or panasonic in the first place. If you only got one battery in your kit, you definitely will need a spare or two.

And with all due respect to carto tanks, a properly designed and functioning atomizer tank renders them obsolete. The Vivi Nova has, IMO, finally accomplished that. No more carto filler taste, dry cartos, changing cartos with the flavor, punching cartos, slidy cartos, or adjusting carto hole sizes and hole quantities for different juices. And, since they can be rebuilt in 10 minutes with a few pennies worth of material, there's no need to buy cartos for a tank.

If you need to carry more than 3-3.5ml in your tank, get a carto tank. If you don't, get a Vivi Nova 2.

Better yet, get both. But don't buy too many punched cartos. You won't be using them.

I got my Apollo SS LT on Friday. I also got a Vivi Nova V2 on Friday and used it immediately. I'm not sure at this point if it is an issue with the LT or the Vivi Nova V2, but if screwed all the way down, there was NO airflow. I had to unscrew it 1 full turn to get airflow to be corrected. I took it to Vapor Essence in Fort Worth, TX yesterday and they suggested a 510 to 510 adapter to see if it corrected the airflow. It has and vapor production is definitely what I was expecting. The tank sits 1/4" high and am hoping to find a shorty 510 to 510 adapter to decrease the space created by using the adapter.

This is why I like the V1 base better than the V2 on that PV. The higher vent holes solve that problem. You can still use the V2 atties with a V1 base. The spring loaded positive terminal in the PV takes care of the center pin problem of the V1.

Gotvapes.com has their own version (2.5). These have long wicks, but I prefer the shorter V2 wicks.
    Madvapes.com

You just have to check for price and availability. They're all within a couple bucks of each other so, if they have them, it'll come down to shipping cost and what other parts, like metal tanks and replacement heads, you want.
