Hi there, bought a tank with carto on inside, filled up as advised, but not getting any vapour. Can anyone tell me why? Not sure if its actually connecting properly with battery, but not sure how to fix this. Any help received gratefully x x x

and you're getting no vapor, no burnt taste or anything? it must not be connecting with the battery...or you got a doa carto. happens.
did you get replacement cartos with the tank? maybe try another one and see if it works? also you could try and widen the hole a little bit by GENTLY pushing a nail into the existing hole...not too much, though. otherwise you'll puncture the guts.

Did no one even inquire if there was juice in the carto and holes in the carto? Assume nothing from a newbie....or a blonde.

If we're talking about the SmokTech DCT tank system (SmokTech V2 Tank Kit), it pretty much rocks. If we are not talking about aforementioned product, disregard this post.
