Offending somebody with a benign comment doesn't make it hostile though. That's my point. You can find reasons to be offended by anything, but I think this is a very well mannered forum overall and throwing around the word hostile is probably more hostile than what people are calling hostile lol

Hate to see anyone leave, I cant find anything anywhere where anyone was hostile/mean to her.

Minus the people arguing about the cost of juice (no direct replies to her) everyone has been NOTHING but helpful (minus a few here).

She didn't even get hassled for building her first dripper without an ohm meter and no idea of the resistance, and that's a sure-fire way to get some flak (well deserved).

Minus the Evolv Vs. Yihi threads, ECF is one the most tame/friendly forums on the internet.

I looked at her previous posts too out of curiosity before I posted anything in here. I don't know how we disappointed her. Maybe I'm offended at her disappointment? Ha! I did it. She was hostile!

Doc J had a great point in his post. What is funny or benign to one may be offensive to another.

No forum can accommodate everybody. Nothing could be done about it.

Very true. I didn't go back and look at her past threads. I just assumed that someone had been rude to her. Maybe she got upset at something in a thread she didn't post in. Who knows.

By reading and dissecting the User's one Topic-Relevant Post and considering the Thread Topic itself, I believe I can extrapolate the "Nerve" that was "twanged" to precipitate the sudden desire to Cut & Run.
To each their own and Stay or Go is the OP's prerogative and ultimately is quite moot,,, Life and this Community Go On.
