Out of nowhere, my Kanger EvoD has been acting up. The draw is a lot harder now, and it often doesn't even make any vapor. When it does make vapor, it is only very little and the coil gets hot really fast all of the sudden. Could it be a bad coil?

I am looking at upgrading to something bigger today anyways, but would still like to fix this to have as an extra.

are you sure you're not low on juice? Also did you blow into it to get any juice that may have gotten stuck in the airholes?

Also - how often do you clean your evod? I clean mine pretty much every time I refill it unless I'm using the same juice (which is rare). I noticed that it gets clogged up if I don't clean it so that's why I asked

It's got 3/4 tank in it now. I just charged it last night. I've tried blowing in it. I also clean it every time I fill it, even if I use the same juice.

EVODs were what I used when I first started vaping. I found that through normal use the air holes in the base would clog up with grime from my fingers and what not. I used a sewing needle to clean them out.

Make sure those are nice and clean because that almost sounds like an air flow problem than anything else.

you have just begun! There is a whole world of stuff out there! But no matter what you get weather it be cartos or tank coils sometimes they just go quickly even if you did the exact same thing you did with the last one. The 14 year old kid who makes 300 in a 12 hr shift, has to get board and not do a perfect job every time.

Put a clean coil in. You can clean/dry burn the old coil to prolong the life. I have had some success with cleaning Kanger single coils - I can usually get at least 2-3 extra use cycles from them before they conk out on me. Many ECF users have posted that they have good results with re-coiling/rewicking Kanger coils for even longer coil life.

Ok. I have another question, but don't feel the need to start a new thread about it.

I now have this Aspire K1 tank and BVC, but I'm still wanting a new/bigger/better battery, and I've been really interested in the MVP 20w. How well do y'all think that battery would work with this tank? I don't really have a big fund for this stuff, so I probably won't be able to buy another new tank right away.
