Well I got my kit 2 months ago and today 1 of the batts wont activate the atty.. the light comes on when pressed and the charger says it's full ...

Is it normal a battery would die from normal use after 2 months? any suggestions? tips?

Edit: I see there is a 6 month guarantee on the batts .. I'ma send the vendor a quick e-mail..

Check the centre conductor on the atty or battery. Chances are that the battery and atty aren't making proper contact, which can happen after a while. Just pull the centre conductor out a tiny bit with a pair of tweezers and the battery should work fine.

You can also (if you have a multimeter) try measuring the batteries' voltage. If it reads right, then there's nothing wrong with it.

have no multimeter .. and when you say "Just pull the centre conductor out a tiny bit with a pair of tweezers and the battery should work fine." you mean center of battery ?

1) Clean the connection end of all dirt and e-juice
2) Try a different atomizer that you know works on another battery
3) Charge battery for 8 hours uninterrupted, even if the charger says it is full (green). Repeat step 2. This procedure will sometimes “reset” a faulty battery.

I wouldn’t worry about the multimeter/pulling the contact end apart tests. If the charger is seeing the battery (i.e turns red when you screw it on) you know the contact is good, which would mean it is a problem in the button/activation, which cannot be fixed.

Can, the issue with this thought process is you're assuming the charger center connection is at the same "height" as the atty. This may not be the case. Manufacturing being what it is, I wouldn't bet a dollar that they are the same.

"Tweaking" the center post on the battery is a harmless procedure. It's quick and easy.

Possible you are over-tightening when screwing parts together?

its possible as a newb .. but i treat it no different than the other .. and the dead batt was working, i thought the atty died until i tried a new atty and still nothing ... other batt is still kicken and i have another order on the way ...

Thanks
