I'm looking at buying an rta, one that easy for a newbie to building. I've been thinking about the dead rabbit clone from FT. Does anyone have anything to say about the dead rabbit? Is the clone as good as the authentic?

I had the clone. I now have 2 authentics. I found the clone to be serviceable, but the playing on the deck began to flake almost immediately. It was also a bit more prone to flooding... not as good at keeping vacuum.
If this is your first rta, I'd recommend starting with a single coil like the Serpent Elevate.

You can also try the Gear clone, very easy to build. If you're looking for a dual coil atty, there are better options than the Rabbit, IMO, like the Reload or Mage V2.

The Serpent Elevate may be hard to come by nowadays.
I would not recommend a clone RTA to a newbie in general, although both the Ulton Juggerknot and Juggerknot Mini clones are excellent tanks. But then again for the same price you can get an authentic Zeus X as well for example.

Awesome flavor, but building it may, at first, cause short bouts of insanity.

How so? I watched a couple of tutorials and it looked a bit more complicated than the DR.
The deck spins and comes out. The DR deck is solid.
