Dead Vivi Nova, but head fine.

Can someone please tell me what can go wrong with the base of the Vivi Nova
when the head in perfect.
Normally I can check the resistance of the head unattached and also when
attached to the base section, getting the same resistance reading each time.
Now I have been using a head with a reading of 2.4 ohms (unattached)
but on screwing it into the base get no reading. This must surely mean a short in the base.
I flushed out the entire unit and let dry but still dead, no reading possible.

take a screw driver, turn the base upside down and push the center post up a bit. Its just sitting in a o-ring that seals up the tank. Your head isn't making contact with it.

that'll do it.
the smoktech version has a spring in its center pin which always makes a connection on every battery or mod. haven't even windowshopped for a vision vivi since discovering those. discountvapers usually has them in stock
