I love volcano's products- shipping and customer service are top notch and I'm partial to their reg tob flavor juice but...

Using the tankomizer, Ive now had three die in three weeks. They just stop. I hot water bathed with no luck and tried an grain alcohol soak with the same result. They are just dead.

Any thoughts?

Did you do your hot water bath prior to using them? Just curious, as I've noticed many users complaining of the tank atties dying early are the ones talking about using PV primes and dry burns straight from the package in order to deal with the priming oil which is shipped inside the atties.

I've got 3 tankomizers I currently rotate through every week, and have yet to have a bad taste, leaking issue, or dying issue. I'm just curious if using these with the priming oil still inside, and not using a hot water bath before ever heating them up, is causing them to "gunk-up" beyond repair? If nothing else, burning and inhaling the priming oil CAN'T be good for anybody...

Not saying this is the case, but it does seem feasible.

I got mine from Cignot, and they have a 30 day warranty. I do have to clean them regularly, but haven't had one burn out yet.

Gunk up from dark juice? Yep
Gunk up for a weeks use? Yep
Slight burnt taste from leftover gunk after cleaning? Yep, got rid of it by dry burning.

On average, I have to clean each atty once a week or so to keep it in top condition.

I've seen a few people show how to take them apart, but haven't gotten the guts to do it myself yet... I may if/when my cleaning regimen is ineffective.

You can check my blog (Link in sig) to see what I do to clean and maintain them, but you've probably heard most of it before :D
