True, but if you aren't hung up on a "genuine" cone and atty, which I'm not sure why anyone would be, that's only worth maybe $8, and if you already have 510 gear laying around you may not need the atty to begin with.

I've tried both generics and authentic Joye, and I'll gladly pay the extra $8. A lot of generics are fine, but they're not as consistent in my experience.

Yeah I bought the one from cignot..because everyone here says they're a great supplier and I wanted to make sure that it wasn't a knock off but an actual joye..because so far this joye 510 has been absolutely phenomenal. I've not had an atty die on me yet built very well..but ya'll were right..changing batteries is a little bit irritating haha, and from what I've read the eGo seems to make better vapor because the battery is stronger. So I'm excited.

The one for 49 on puresmoker was only available in red..I wanted a different color..and from reviews of the supplier I chose cignot. it was 69, no shipping. But yeah with the regular price being 78 I guess its not really competitive, but I guess the initial investment isn't really a big deal if it's as awesome as everyone has made it sound. haha, I am excited and I hope it comes fast

I'd agree with that on the battery, but not sure I'd go that far with the cone or atty. I've been pretty happy with the knockoff items I've bought. The knockoff atomizers I bought have worked better and outlasted the ones I got with my genuine 510 kit. I'd rather buy from someplace with a decent warranty, or that's known to stand behind their products than assume the superior quality of a genuine part with no warranty(many vendors selling orig. parts offer little more than DOA) and trust that it'll hold up. Cignot is one of those vendors that's well known to stand behind their products by the way.

I'm confused about how you're using the term kit. All the eGo "kits" I've seen have 2 eGos(battery at least) in them, but some with only 1 cone as opposed to two. Whether it's the knockoffs, like at Tasty Vapor, or the genuine like at Cignot they come with at least 2 batteries and 2 atomizers., charger, maybe a few carts tossed in. And I've seen both the knockoffs and the genuine kits regularly on sale for $49 for the last couple of weeks at one place or another. Same with the 750maH Riva. Your comment about $35 per kit threw me since for a second I thought you were suggesting Cignot had two kits(i.e. 4 eGos total) for $69 which would be ridiculously cheap. Cignot is an outstanding vendor, and that's where I bought my 510, but $69 doesn't strike me as anything resembling a deal in the current buyer's market. Better than the manufacturer's suggested $78 they were asking, and can no longer realistically demand, but still nothing to write home about.

2 of everything cept a charger (the kit just has one) plus an AC/USb plug for $69 shipped and unrivalled CS seems like a great deal to me lol I usually get everything inside 3 days.
The OP asked for recommendations, and I gave mine and stand by it :)

No worries. Taking into account how much money we're going to spend on juice and toys over the coming months and years, $20 probably isn't worth sweating anyway.:)

The reason your filler gets stuck on the atty is usually due to twisting the cart when you pull it off. Try pulling it straight on/off with no twisting and it should eliminate the problem. That said, I swear by dripping with a drip tip and will never mess with fillers/carts again.

Well just ordered an eGo Starter kit from cignot with a black and platinum battery and some empty carts. On a side note, I've been cutting the filler in my carts in half to try and have them hold more liquid, but the filler gets stuck on the atomizer alot of the time, it was doing it alot more, when I was cutting more off, but it's still doing it enough now that it's getting on my nerves pretty bad. What's a better filler I can use? I've read some about the blue foam and a place you could order it pre-cut for carts, but cant find the post. Is that good for PG liquid? I just need something that will feed liquid into the atomizer better because I feel like I am wasting liquid topping off so much..
