Good to hear! :thumb: :)

Great to hear from ya, M'lady!
Any new work?
I earned and was considered a "master" at my craft. Your work blows me away!
I've always been a bit of a realist myself and dedicated to expressing minute detail.
What you do with a brush is inspiring and what I've always worked to accomplish with my swivel knives, tools, mallet and my brushes, dyes, paints whatever I could cajole into mixing with them.
I hope to see a link to new work from you!
Peace and Blessings from me and, hopefully, the Muse, sister!
(Yeah, I know that sounds common and cliche, but sometimes...)
:)

No new work yet - but thank you so very much for that! Your skills are amazing though!
I'm thinking I need to try a slight change of how a few are presented, and a few deviations of what is portrayed in them - nothing drastic, but a few that are a little different.
I find myself a little stifled by that which is expected ...a kind of catharsis is needed for some. I need to complete a bunch of new ones for an exhibition late September, so I need to focus my mind on work a little more - and focus is still not what it should be. Hopefully, once I start painting a new object or depicting something in a slightly different way, I'll get bitten by the old obsession with the paint!
I do have a list of thoughts/ideas, and a few new 'props' - latest are some confit jars & pots from France ..one arrived today! These (jars with spouts and some with handles) http://www.bing.com/images/search?q...fit+pot+spout&qpvt=confit+pot+spout&FORM=IGRE
I have some other hitherto unpainted treasures - all I need is to still the flitting notions into firm compositions and I'll be happy :)

Detail is, for me too, vital - yet it needs to leave out a little without it being obvious ..allow the eye to complete what is not apparent, or form the impressionable effect. Sometimes, drawing the line at the right point is everything.
These 'tools' on the ends of our arms are indeed a wonder! Put man made tools into them, and the wonder can become ten fold for us. When it works well, nothing becomes a something.
I hope to see a link to new work from you!
My mind has been flat all afternoon, but you're once more enthusing me to pick up the brush and finish this small painting that has been sat pitifully begging me to finish it for a week!
All I need now is to bottle this endowed enthusiasm and take a long swig of it ..each day 'til the task be done!

Peace and Blessings from me and, hopefully, the Muse, sister!

Common and cliché is what makes things keep moving! Don't knock it ;) Peace and blessings from me too, and may the muse(s) grace us both!
