Now what the heck is a guy like me s'posed to do while waiting for my G-tank-US?

I'm looking at a company that sells a (2) 18650 holder with built in 5V limiting board. Then I will need to figure out how to house it, and how to connect an ePower 5V switch for the 18650 (well, really 2 18350's, but 2 18350's are not going to last as long as 2 18650's...then it becomes a weight issue!)

But then again, the 5V switch is running at 5.75 and may not even work with the battery holder for 2 18650's....

Good thing I got a good supply of DC's----BUT, the 1.5's won't work on the ePower 5V!!!! You need at least a 2 Ohm... so, it's a good thing I still have an excellent 3.7 (4.18 at full charge) unregulated 18650 ePower.... ( I MUST recharge when it hits 3.75 or so because that is where it is best... so maybe 3-4 hours if lucky...)

OK, so maybe it's back to the flashlights again...

And the cycle continues...

I started poring over ecig info... literally weeks of reading thread after thread after thread...

It's all good though, since I don't use analogs anymore

Maybe I should get a 5V regulator and a good switch and say the heck with pre-made parts???...

Then there is the DIY tactile button/switch...heck why not?!!!!!

My .... is getting sore from reading too much info online...I should go outside and breathe the air...

Nah, I'll just see if someone has something good to sell on the classifieds...

Maybe there will be a coop on mesh!!!!!!

I wonder what they are doing over on that thread for that flavor maker?

Hey, you can't tell me it's past my bedtime..I am a grown man!

Dear day in the life of a modder.

The constant bombardment of issues that revolve around making something. Compounded by seeing so many other things that need modding too. everything is a potential mod with it's own set of unique problems to make it work.
Now you see why modders need therapy.
If your having trouble sleeping here is an Rx for you.

Dear miserable in Missouri,

You do have a problem then. We may have to get Nurse Cratchet to put you on her tread mill for a stress test. You know, the one the you guys modded into a PV generator so she could power her pass through. I bet you'd sleep like a baby after that the way she vapes.

Hmmm....this is from 5cardstud on 3/17/2010:

".... The only way to find out if something works is do it. For the price and time I put in on my last mod, with tools bought and parts I didn't like so I tossed them, I could have bought the most expensive retail mod on the market. But my problem is I never think about that untill I'm done then I think That was stupid to buy all that stuff. Oh well it's called the modding addiction I think. " - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...agram-flashlight-mod-diagram.html#post1163593

I believe this captures Modumust most eloquently - in fact, we should draw up a Modders Manifesto or some such and this should be the opening lines. :D

ETA:
Oh yeah...Doc, I've started modding components - see this for my capacitor mod :D
