DITTO, not that they are bad, but please...... green teas..... and those others ......... Good real tea for a real man or lady...... Twinnings English breakfast or Earl Grey or if you really want to bounce off the walls the Black Currant or if you can find it the real Black tea with mango, talk about it being equal to coffee. Im a coffee drinker but if I do drink tea its good black teas....
Just out of curiosity, other than non-alcoholic beer or wines, what choices does a person that gives up the "drink" drink ? Good Iced - tea? I like a good bold iced-tea.
Yeah I love iced tea too... Luzianne is by far the best. I've never liked tea with fruit flavors but I'm weird that way, don't like mixed fruit either. However, a steaming hot cup of English Breakfast with a blueberry-streusel muffin... mmmmmmmm that is heaven. Those flavors go together SO well!
When I first quit drinking, I drank ice cold V-8 juice, in a can... it satisfied my need for something savory instead of sweet, and the can, well obviously.

I've always been more into savory flavors than sweet; the only vape I really like is Virginia from MyFreedomSmokes... it has a very *faint* appley-sweetness, but mostly savory.
If I want something a little sweeter but not really *sweet*, I love ruby-red grapefruit juice. Every once in a great while I might have a cup of decaf coffee, at my parents'; they have real brewed coffee which is the only kind I'll drink, don't really care for instant (coffee or tea!) -- it tastes stale to me. And even more rarely, I might have a Dr. Pepper, which I love, but that kind of sugary sweetness gets old pretty quick, plus it makes me feel like I've just taken a whole bottle of No-Doz.
But mostly I just drink mug after mug of English Breakfast tea, with 2 sugars. That's what I absolutely *crave* when I can't get it; I found out that black tea is actually fermented, to make it black, and I've wondered if something in that taste is what I respond to so strongly. Green tea is too sharp to my palate, but black tea, mmmm, nummy.

EDIT: I've only tried NA beer once... but it's so close to the taste I used to love so much, I fear that after drinking one, I'd be all "heck with this, gimme a real one!" So I just leave them alone. NA wine, cabernet, is very good with italian food, but mostly I don't bother. But it's interesting to me that, with it being non-alcoholic, I'm just fine with one glass. In the old days with the real stuff, I felt like one BOTTLE was a good start... and nevermind the food, just gimme more wine...
