I'm all for it. We could call it grumpy old vapers. No one under 30 or wearing skinny jeans. Throw some iggy and the stooges and stiff little fingers into the playlist and it would be perfect

That SLF reference has resulted in a blissful and loud trip down memory lane.

Hanx!!!

And some good non-alcoholic ones too, for those of us who had to give that stuff up YEARS before smoking started kicking our butts... ;) Coffee's fine, I love the smell, but tea, please... good tea... Twinings English Breakfast! and REAL SUGAR!!! :D I can't get too pure, or I couldn't stand myself!

Andria

DITTO, not that they are bad, but please...... green teas..... and those others ......... Good real tea for a real man or lady...... Twinnings English breakfast or Earl Grey or if you really want to bounce off the walls the Black Currant or if you can find it the real Black tea with mango, talk about it being equal to coffee. Im a coffee drinker but if I do drink tea its good black teas....

Just out of curiosity, other than non-alcoholic beer or wines, what choices does a person that gives up the "drink" drink ? Good Iced - tea? I like a good bold iced-tea.

No offense intended to anyone, trust me I've downed more than my share of PBR, Schlitz, Old Milwaukee, etc. and worn out many a Carhartt jacket or bibs.
No offense taken by me. I still have 3 cans of Schlitz "Talls" in my collection. (Right next to a 6-pack of Hamms :D).

And PBR? That's for those hoity-toity folks North of the tracks.

Wow, I stand corrected. I guess PBR is now the drink of choice for both hillbillies and hipsters now. Maybe the hillbillies are switching to Old Milwaukee's Best to differentiate themselves from the hipsters.

Having experienced both PBR and Milwaukee's Beast, I'm not real sure who the loser is in this identity crisis.

Yeah I love iced tea too... Luzianne is by far the best. I've never liked tea with fruit flavors but I'm weird that way, don't like mixed fruit either. However, a steaming hot cup of English Breakfast with a blueberry-streusel muffin... mmmmmmmm that is heaven. Those flavors go together SO well!

When I first quit drinking, I drank ice cold V-8 juice, in a can... it satisfied my need for something savory instead of sweet, and the can, well obviously. :D I've always been more into savory flavors than sweet; the only vape I really like is Virginia from MyFreedomSmokes... it has a very *faint* appley-sweetness, but mostly savory.

If I want something a little sweeter but not really *sweet*, I love ruby-red grapefruit juice. Every once in a great while I might have a cup of decaf coffee, at my parents'; they have real brewed coffee which is the only kind I'll drink, don't really care for instant (coffee or tea!) -- it tastes stale to me. And even more rarely, I might have a Dr. Pepper, which I love, but that kind of sugary sweetness gets old pretty quick, plus it makes me feel like I've just taken a whole bottle of No-Doz. :D

But mostly I just drink mug after mug of English Breakfast tea, with 2 sugars. That's what I absolutely *crave* when I can't get it; I found out that black tea is actually fermented, to make it black, and I've wondered if something in that taste is what I respond to so strongly. Green tea is too sharp to my palate, but black tea, mmmm, nummy.

Andria

EDIT: I've only tried NA beer once... but it's so close to the taste I used to love so much, I fear that after drinking one, I'd be all "heck with this, gimme a real one!" So I just leave them alone. NA wine, cabernet, is very good with italian food, but mostly I don't bother. But it's interesting to me that, with it being non-alcoholic, I'm just fine with one glass. In the old days with the real stuff, I felt like one BOTTLE was a good start... and nevermind the food, just gimme more wine... ;)

Nah....... wine and cheese? Oh please, then It would be like all those middle aged, middle class , upper class wanna be's in Sonoma, MEAT, BBQ, PORK ........ Lots of real food....... No Pinot, Chablis...... Just good real drinks..... NO MOJITOS......

To be honest, I'd visit both: one for the rock and fun, the other for the food and relaxing. Then again, I resemble one of those middles you listed...

Luzianne tea for me. I like it after I drink.

ALL of the labels will be in extra large fonts because we will need to be able to see them without our reading glasses. 5% off if you are 50 or older. 10% off if you are over 70.

Absolutely no music made after 1990. AND no PBR. Budweiser is fine if you want to drink American beer. Alcoholic drinks with only 2 ingredients, please. Two types of wine: red and white. AND NO WHINERS.

Remember those Hamm's commercials back in the 60's and 70's? They were dated even before they released them!
Now they would accuse you of trying to get minors to drink if you released a similar commercial

Yes, that is my step daughter to a T, but I love her

hipsters make me giggle. Their whole philosophy is based on being "ironic". They drink PBR out of a brown bag lunch sack because they want the appearance of being poor even though a lot of them are not. They buy old retro looking electronics so that they can have a 1980's watch in the year 2014. What pisses me off the most about the trend is those dumb glasses without lenses. JUST WHY?

We should start an "old fart" B & M. We could have comfy rocking chairs and padded recliners instead of stools. Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd on the stereo...

I am very lucky, there is a B&M within one mile of my home that is run by a man in his mid 50's. No headbanger music, no couches, no cloud chasers. Most of the customers he has are over 30 and enjoy talking about a lot things besides how low they can get their Ohms and how much vapor they can produce!!!

Jello and prune vapes. On second thought maybe not
I was thinking more along the lines of Jello Shots and Flaming DR Peppers

Actually A place that combined vapor lounge with restaurant/bar would be great but I suspect many local ordinances would be violated in many places.

BTW, if that is you in your avatar, great 'stache" Im so glad to see men taking pride in more unique facial hair styles.

Unfortunately it's just shopped. I gave myself a little "Dali"-esque makeover. If I could grow a stache like that, I would, but my face doesn't work like that... :'-(

As soon as you said Pink Floyd I was all for it. David Gilmour is still one of the top guitarists of all time. Some of us younger folk still enjoy the classics ;)

Sent from my iPhone because I'm awesome like that.

we have a vanilla type vape shop B&M that i love. it is small with a 3 person couch, the counter with all the current mods, tasting station, big screen, no loud music. they are moving into a building that is 3 times as big as the current one and they need it due to all the customers.
I'm a regular, but just at lunch, 30 minutes, when i have nothing to do. they are just across the street from where i work...great gun store next door, vape across street, no wonder i'm always broke!

anyway, we have a large Marine base just down the road and there are always 3-4 of them in there just taking up air. they take up residence on the couch and i don't want to sit at the counter since that is where he builds coils and runs biz. there are 2 of them that are like Lenny and Squiggy or really Lennie and George from Of Mice and Men. the little guy says something and immediately looks at the other for approval or response and he usually does not say anything. this happens ever time little guy opens his mouth...drives me nutz!!

the new place will have a pool table, a 1/16 RC car track, big screens, couches etc. it will be nice and it is still right across the street. the owners are great, it's just the above people in there or some really weird folks asking the dumbest questions. i always think, why not look it up on the net or you tube before you come in and make a fool of yourself asking why you are having leaking problems when you threw away the silicone cap that seals the tube since you did not think it belonged there.

then there are the juice tasters! OMG, they mix their own 50/50 but i prefer 70/30 and they won't budge on changing since they don't want to be just juice bangers. you always have one that wants to try every juice in the rack. they only have 6mg nic so they will not taste the same with a higher level as we all know, and they are on little 3.7 devices that suck anyway. oh well it's all we have so i have to deal with it.

rant off!!!
