This is decently humorous except one flaw. The reference to PBR. Anyone who drinks that swill is most likely still huffing down Marlboro reds, lives in a trailer and is married to their sister/cousin and probably own at least 12 dogs.

Hey im normal and i like pbr. Its good cheep beer that goes down like water and gets you drunk

It's funny how the world works :D

In England we have a HUGE and I mean galaxy huge selection of fine ales and lagers from all around Europe for pretty reasonable prices, yet brands like PBR are sold at a premium above most others! It's exactly this that makes the hipsters here drink filth for the 'cool, look at me I'm different' look. If I'm in the mood to be different I'll head to my local Brewdog and relax with a bottle of Dogma! Beers such as Tactical Nuclear Penguin at a rather zingy 32% alcohol keeps most of the hipsters away :D No that's not the strongest beer they do either, that's 40%/80 proof IIRC!

This is my logic when it comes to drinking. Start with the expensive stuff. I usually get a 22oz bottle of say shipwrecked double ipa or pliney the elder or something really good. Then once youve had so much expensive beer that you cant really taste it anymore, go to the cheap stuff.

ROFL!! That was EXACTLY the way my husband and I used to do it, back in our drinking days.... we never could afford *really* expensive stuff, but a 12 of Michelob, we could swing that... then a 12 of Old Milwaukee...

So glad I don't waste my money on that junk anymore. I'm goofy enough, I certainly don't need anything to make me worse. :D

Man, I want to move to Dallas! (Not really, but I do like the variety of juice bars...)

We are definitely not lacking in variety of juice bars....

Another local hipster joint...

The Asian community really is going hardcore with the ecigs.. They swarm into the shops around me and buy every high-end mod just for the looks.. and most of them are not even ex-smokers.. they all vape 0 nicotine and use it because it 'looks cool'... a couple of them that came into my buddy's shop all the time just opened several of their own with the help of mommy and daddy's bank accounts..

Seems to be not just around here though from the 'restaurant type B&M' pic you posted lol.

It's better when you sing it to 'Gangnam Style'.

"Oh Oh Oh Oh Oppa's Restaurant Style"

My wife hates it when I say that just before walking in. I'm sure her being South Korean has something to do with it.

Have you ever noticed that all of the best donut shops are run by Koreans?

Hey! PBR put a roof over my head! My father was a distributor for PBR (and a number of other brands)!!! It can't be all bad!!!:toast:

My personal experience of PBR is somewhat less savory... on Fri/Sat nights, I'd have to wonder if my mom was still at the giggly <3 beers stage, or if she had yet progressed to the >6 beers raging jabba the hut stage. Counting the empties was a good way to try and stay out of her way, once enough of them had accumulated.

Our son was just 4 when we quit drinking, and he says that all he remembers was the entire bottom of the fridge covered in blue & white cans (Busch was cheaper than Bud!). I'm really glad that's all he remembers, unlike my own indelible memories of growing up with an alcoholic in the house.

I'll concur there's a ton of shops in the Dallas area. I always leave a lil lighter in the wallet when I go there for work. I liked good vapes the best. No hipsters and good juice at decent prices. I even sampled bacon flavor vape there.

Yeah, but you do have Mike's Pastry which pretty much makes any donut shop it's beotch! I had an Oreo cannoli from there this summer that was not only the size of pumpkin, but was just about the best pastry I ever had.
