"Preserve wildlife - pickle a squirrel". That was on a bumper sticker, I saw many years ago.
In Korea, we had a Siberian Husky puppy as the barracks mascot. One day it disappeared, the Korean who owned it said he had sold it to a farmer. We thought it was nice that the puppy was going to live on a farm, until he said that the farmer ate it. We were angry, to say the least. 
The dog's owner sold it for the equivalent of $5.00 U.S. When he found out that we would have given him 10 times that much, to keep it as our mascot, he was upset. Good enough for him, he should have checked with us, before he sold it for food !!!

He's been begging me (as have a few others) for me to put up an avatar.
Angus has asked me to use some sort of "All Hail Angus, The Fairest In The Land" avatar but I will not bend to his iron fist!!!
I should have an avatar up sometime later tonight. Until then, everyone should stay glued to ECF as I'm sure you'll want to be one of the first 1,000 people to see it!
