Do the eGo batteries give any warning or do they just die out of the blue one day? I've had mine for 2 months+ and it didn't charge overnight like it always has. It charged while I was awake no prob, so I don't know if I should express mail a new one right now or risk it. It's my only 510 batt, and it's an eGo-C upgrade passthrough, 650 mAh.

Now that it's charged, how long is it holding a charge?

I've had both- suddenly dead or slow death. I've found that passthroughs don't normally last as long as regular batteries for some odd reason. Still, two months is kinda soon for one to die.

Do you have a wall charger as well? You could try that. I'd probably order another just in case.

I'm taking it to work tonight to see if lasts long as usual, but I'm buying a new one right now just in case, with upgraded shipping for the first time in my life. It seemed to take longer to charge today, from the dark blue light during use all the way to red charge light off was 6 hours, and the life of the battery seems to be lessening lately.

Stainless steel 900 mAh Twist, here I come ... err, here you come?

nope, I just ordered one with the Twist battery. This scare makes me realize how stupid it is to have only one 510 device. I would be nursing my last 808 carto on the V2, or buying NJoy throwaways. At this point, cigarettes are not an option, which is pretty cool.

I are confused. Did it charge or didn't it charge?

There is another possibility: You got the center post on the battery pushed down too far and it isn't making good contact when you screw it onto the charger. This can happen with "overzealous screwing" - tightening things onto the battery more than necessary. Or simply a bad, out of spec device. (Ever so slightly longer center connector than it should have.) If this is the case you need to take a small pointy something - like a very small jeweler's screwdriver - and work around the center post, gently trying to work the center post back up the tiniest bit.

Get back to us and let us know what's going on.

Sorry - missed mention of the PT. That is short-lived, even for a passthrough. But without something to swap out - like trying it on a different PT cable (they can crap out too) - it's kinda hard to assess what's going on here.

Oh yea! That's another thing you should have a backup of. I had backup batteries, backup juice, backup cartos, etc. And my charger died.

UPDATE: It does seem the performance of my eGo-C PT has taken a (s)hit. It seems to have lost about an hour and a half of normal vaping time and it takes longer to charge. Plus, it's only on that light blue light for about 20 minutes then it goes to the dark blue "CHARGE ME NOW!" color. Not that big or a deal since it is a PT, but still justifies my purchase of another battery just in case.

This'll make it easier to wait for a VV or VW Vapage VMOD, if it ever happens.

THAT ACTUALLY WORKED!!! I had one ego-t 1000 not working with any t-2s, but worked with a new t-3. I looked at the bat. contact with a jewlers loop and said "I'll never get anything between the brass sleeve and contact". I used a cheap, tiny screwdriver. That battery contact is not hard-pressed into anything, it moved as soon as I touched it. I worked around the circumfrence, the t-2s' that didn't fire 5 minutes ago worked! Great post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
