I was very surprised at this video. I thought it was going to be another "Christians stole the holiday from the pagans" type thing. Maybe that is what the maker of the video was trying to do, but that's not what I saw. I saw that God wrote the story of His birth, death, and resurrection in the stars when He set them in the heavens at creation.

You should watch Zeitgeist. It explains a lot about "the hidden meaning of religions in astronomy"

I've watched the first one and parts of the second. Sometimes it goes into "tin-foil hat" territory, but for the most part it is really good.

Be well,

The first one is about 1st religion being a way to control masses, 2nd 9/11 not by bin laden but by US Government, and 3rd money, how does it work, how does federal reserve bank works, and then a little of the "new world order" stuff. The Zeitgeist Addendum (2) is about economy, the monetary system, then the """"financial helps of USA to country's in need"""". It's really interesting, and in some cases i think it could also be a mind/eyes opener.

I saw that God wrote the story of His birth, death, and resurrection in the stars when He set them in the heavens at creation.

Have you thought of this statement conversely? Meaning that instead of God putting these stars in the sky in order to tell the story of his birth death and resurrection, could it be possible that Humans used these stars in order to create the story of God - his birth death and resurrection? Put simply, is it probable that Humans created God, rather than God created Humans?

A great article, Sister Cuz! I did get bogged down in it, though. But this article is so precise that man couldn't be created out of an explosion.....the balance of nature.....the degree of the sun.....etc.

Scorched, if humans 'invented or created God,' He would be praying to us, not vice versa. If we had the power to speak worlds into being, why would we want Jesus in our life, because we'd be soooooo prideful. That doesn't even make sense. Have you really thought that theory through? When men become prideful, their demise is just around the corner......ask Anthony Weiner. If man were all powerful, why haven't we demolished satan, his minions and places of residence.

I don't know if you have read the book of Job. It's a great Book of the Bible and I have read it many times, as I am disabled. My body is disabled, but not my spirit! :) Job had gone through MASSIVE trials and all of his friends blamed his situation on past sins.....his wife even told him, "Just curse God and die!" She was a real encouragement to him! Job never turned his back on God, but he did complain, as I would have done.....and still do from time to time. God did answer Job. Man, just communicating with God like that would have put a stupid smile on my face throughout eternity! Chapter 38 is quite long, so I will give you an excerpt from it.

Job 38:1-7 - 1) Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind and said: 2) Who is this who darkens counsel by words, without knowledge? 3) Now prepare yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer Me. 4)Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding. 5) Who determined its measurements? Surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? 6) To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone. 7) When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

I'm telling you, it's GREAT reading! If you don't have a Bible to read it from, I'll send you one. I mean it's such cool reading! As a child of The King of Kings, I am excited to say, "That's MY Heavenly Father talking and He is flat out, beyond a shadow of a doubt THE GREATEST AND ONLY God that has ever been!!!! Whoooooo Hooooooo! Hallelujah to the Most High, Almighty God...Who was and is and is to come! Holy is His Name, the Name above all Names! He's my heart and my everything!!!!! Okay....got a bit happy there. :):):)

I love the creation discussion! God and science are like bread and butter. I believe God gave us the knowledge we have today to explain away the evolution debate and also for healing pruposes.

Right you are Brandee! God invented science, not the other way around. Big bang or evolution cannot be true and can be proved scientifically. I've never been a science buff, but even I know that an explosion COULD NOT have placed the balance of mankind into being. Evolution is a bunch of hogwash as nothing has evolved in man from a one cell organism.....where is the evidence? From the beginning of time until now, not one primate has evolved into a social being such as man. I don't know where these folks get the wacko ideas from. I pray the scales come off of their eyes soon.....before it's too late. We must pray for them. :(

BTW, welcome to the board!!! :)

I've heard that movie mentioned more then once. What's is about?

Zeitgeist is truth mixed with lies to deceive christians.... As Satans greatest game.. But we know By the creators word... That a little bit of leven will ruin the entire loaf. I would be careful with the Zeitgeist movies because they were not created by christians but luciferians.

Agreed. Scripture advises us that taking 'fire' into our bosoms usually results in a 'burn'... :)
