Hi, I'm on to my second ecig purchase( have spent around £100 so far on starting although I believe that there is always going to be an initial outlay through experimentation) bought the riva 510 which is an improvement on my prev one. Also got some dual coil carts which are very good. However someone has advised against using them with riva as battery not suitable and thus can damage it. My previous purchase batt only lasted 4 weeks (40quid - no good) so I don't want to mess the Rivas up or chance it. What are your recommendations for s suitable battery for the dual coils?

18650 size battery is lovely with dual coils. I use them in my Megalodon...but there are other 18650 mods. You want a mod that has a mechanical switch or a switch rated 3amps...some say 2amps, I say better to be safe than sorry.

The noego has been getting good reviews. I have the e-power and I really like it, so naturally I'm hawking it to everyone lol. At around $45, it's a lot of bang for the buck inho. Check madvapes and hoosierecig if you want to check it out.
I tried using the dual coil with my Riva 1100, and it just wasn't working. Destroyed several DC's. I started using them on my 5 volt mod, and wow, it is like nothing else I've tried. I have tried alot of different things, but now with the 5 volt mod and the dual coils, I'm finally happy.
I have to chime in and say that the NoEgo works very well. I prefer the 18650 model for longevity. Also I use the 1.25 DC from Hoosier which is an even heavier load with no issues.
