Why the coils?
They burn out over time. Like the filament in a light bulb.
Why the coils?
Ok yea I was like um what lolDoh! I didn't link the search in my previous post. Brain fart on my part. Here's the search results I was talking about:
All in One Systems Ecig Starter Kits
Ohhhhhhh ok thanksThey burn out over time. Like the filament in a light bulb.
Ok yea I like vaping but without nicotineMy advice is if you're off the nicotine and don't need to smoke, don't start vaping. Your only vaporizing $$$$$. But if you still want to blow clouds a dual 18650 regulated mod can be had for fairly cheap. The juice and coils are whats going to kill your wallet, unless you diy. Good luck.
But everyone once and again like once every three weeks I’ll have one pod full of 3g nicotine liquid mixed with non-nicotine liquidMy advice is if you're off the nicotine and don't need to smoke, don't start vaping. Yea I know that I’ve refilled it once alreadyOK, here's a break down for you. This is the meaty part of your device:

Ohhhhhhh ok I was wondering what those were1) See that little hole at the bottom in the middle? That's where you refill the 'tank.'
2) See that thing that looks like a spring above the hole? That's your 'coil' or 'wire' or 'atomizer.'
3) See the thing that your coil is wrapped around? That's your 'wick.'
4) The other section (not pictured) is your 'battery' and your 'mod' or 'device.' In this case your 'mod' is a very simple one designed simply to provide power to the rest of the set up.
Never heard of itAll vapes have those parts. They just look different and sometimes work differently. Like a dripper (RDA) doesn't house liquid. You 'drip' liquid into it instead.
Never heard of it

Ok thanksYeah. That's a complicated thing that you wouldn't have used. It's an oddball kind of thing that you probably wouldn't be interested in at all but I thought I should mention it.
Yeah. You'll see those things mentioned a lot and they are really a lot simpler than they sound.
As many as I need my local vape store sells themThe coils will not last forever, how many refills you can get from the rock, I have no idea.
Ok thanksThe other thing to consider is your device. I like to be able to vary either my Wattage or Voltage (or both) to get the vape I want. That's not necessary but it can be a good thing to have, because it's something to play with that affects your vape experience. I don't think your device allows that. It probably starts off strong and then gets weaker as the battery gets lower. In a regulated device (vary W or V) the vape will pretty much feel the same through the life of the charge. When looking around at various devices you'll see the range listed in the specs.
You will also probably want a device with a built in battery. That will keep your experience closer to what you have going on now. What you want to look for is the 'mAh' rating of the built in battery. The more the better.

Not true of all pod systems. There is a limited number of TIMES you can refill them, They have plastic pods so you have to avoid tank cracking flavors, and you generally have to use a needle tip bottle, but there are several I know of that are refillable. Th BO,PEAS, and now apparently the boulder are all refillable. You do realize that a closed pod system means the pod can't be refilled?
