I can't speak intelligently about weather AWs Li-MN (IMR) 2000mAh batteries are any better than EHs LI-MN (IMR) 2000mAh batteries.

The EH IMR 18650's are a hair taller then AW batteries.
Spec sheet: Manufacturers, Suppliers, Exporters & Importers from the world's largest online B2B marketplace-Alibaba.com

Both EH and AW are known to relabel high end Panasonic batteries...
Shenzhen Toby Technologies Makes the EH
Shenzhen Fest( EYoung) Technology Co. makes the AW
You tell me...

"The problem is, again, the Provari was built and designed around the AW IMR's". No it was built around the ability (charge/drain, C rating characteristics) of the battery, not the manufacturer. EH's specs are the same as AW except the AW has a C rating of 10, the EH is 8.
What does that mean?
You can discharge the AW at 20 amps in 3 minutes.
You can discharge the EH at 16 amps in 3.75 minutes.
Who's vaping at 75 watts anyway?

They are both high end quality batteries with the nod going to AW, But you are talking the difference between Ferrari's and Lamborghini's, not Honda's and Hugo's.

No, it was built on the design specs of the AW batteries. I'm not arguing the discharge rates, I'm not arguing the capacities, I'm arguing the length of the battery, I'm arguing the height of the nipple on the battery, I'm arguing the outer diameter of the battery.
I've never said the AW was better or worse, I said they designed the Provari around the best battery they could find, at the time, and it was, and still is, designed around the AW batteries.
I've no doubt the EH batteries would run it fine, but will they? The way the positive connection is made, it's in a "V" inside the PCB, there are pics. is the nipple on the EH batteries high enough to reach into it and make connection, constantly? Are the EH batteries made consistently they will all do this?
You're creating a pissing match where there isn't one! I'm not bad mouthing the EH batteries! I just can't say, with 100% assurance, that they will work in a Provari because of the way it's made. Nothing more!

grats on the purchase! what tank/atty setup you end up going with?
Well i've already been using 3 ohm three hole punched cartos from madvapes with a chrome artemas locking dct tank so ill stick with that, im wondering how different the vapor quality is gonna be compared to my lavatube 2.0 which just kicked the bucket for some reason. I recently bought a genisis style rebuildable but im still working on getting the right resistance when i build them. So for now ill be using the artemas tank with the madvapes cartos unless someone tells me thats a bad idea for some reason i dont know about hahah. Cant wait!

I don't know if I could justify it... They're just so much money

Then don't! It's that easy! I wanted what I wanted, and all but killed myself to get it, but I got it! It's not for everyone, and I certainly don't sell it as the end all beat all. but for what I needed, wanted and expected, there wasn't anything else that would compare!
