Hey all,

I am really enjoying my Grand LP! It has totally replaced ALL my other VV/VW and Mechs.

I'm thinking about #2- I have modded a couple of attys, own an RM2, and have an RM3 on the way. I'm looking at the mini or the Grand SL/LP- I want variety. But after reading the specs, it appears the Mini may not be a good choice for me; I don't see a significant size difference to justify the battery capacity compromise. It's hard to tell "on paper", but it appears to be only about 10% smaller, and one has to drop to around 1100-12--mAh battery at significantly reduced current. I'm using Sony VTC5's now, and getting about 2.5 times the battery capacity, and I still have to change out a battery on occasion.. So, for those that have a Mini, are you satisfied with battery life, have you found a higher capacity battery that I might have missed, and for a relatively heavy vaper, is it a good choice? For me, the smaller the better, but I don't want to sacrifice too much performance.

i guess my other option is the Grand SL? May be a better choice? Appreciate your opinions. Thanks.

You switch out your VTC5's a lot? What ohm are you vaping?

I mainly use my mini with an AW-IMR, I stay above a .7. The battery lasts me a good 10 hours.

Remember, the amperage on any 18490/500 is nowhere near that of the VTC's, so if you're down at a .4 or lower and that's your everyday... I recommend you stay on VTC5's. Which means, stay with the Grands.

I didn't understand what people meant when they told me the mini was "stealthier" until I got one. I can vape pretty much anywhere with it and it's not as noticeable. I like my coils even with my grand in the .8 range so it's fine for me. I'd say I probably enjoy them both equally. I have juice at work, so if I need to refill it's not a big deal. Hindsight, I'm glad I bought one. But, I still want a SL one now lol. That's my next obsession until I purchase. I don't find myself changing batteries until the end of the day only because I want them to be fresh the next day.

Thanks, lou.
I don't swap them out a *lot* during the day, but when they get low, I can definitely tell a difference @ around .8. I usually don't go much lower then that. But, yeah, I vape a lot. I can vape in my office during the day as well. But you are thinking like me I believe I will miss the 18650. So leaning towards staying w/ the Grand.

I prefer the grand over the mini myself. It's bigger and heftier but the difference from 3ml to 6ml is what does it for me :)

A point I missed in my post- 3ml. vs. 6ml. That, for me, would mean multiple refills per day! (Well, at least one...)

That's where I'm leaning- an SL for #2.
