I have researched until my eyes have glazed over for my first rba....looks like the kayfun Lite Plus V2 from ehpro from fluid vapes at $29.99 will be the choice, balancing the budget and quality. Also have all the tools picked out....multi meter, organic cotton, pen torch, tweezers, and plenty of wire for practice.

I've heard that 32 ga is the best wire for beginners.

So, is this a decent choice to get started or am I blowing vapor up....well you know......

I'd recommend either 28 or 30 gauge over 32 gauge. The 32 will be extremely fragile and may only accept very little wraps for the resistance you'll be using in a KFL. You want at least a few wraps for adequate coil surface area to vaporize your juice. 28 gauge is my favorite and seems to be the popular choice with others KFL users.

This was the most helpful video for me when I got my KFL+.

My first RBA was the Kayfun Lite Plus V2. I enjoyed it, and wish I had never sold it. Being a truck driver, I got tired of rebuilding and re-wicking on the road, so I switched to the Areotank Mega. Still have it, but I recently for the Joyetech Delta. I love this thing. However, the coils are still quite pricey, and not readily available. To keep the cost of coils down a bit, I'm going to pick up a Plume Veil RDA clone.

Kayfun Lite is a good choice. I also started out with 28g Kanthal. You'll need the RDA, kanthal (size your choice), organic cotton, pliers, flush cutters, screwdrivers or drill bits, picks or toothpicks, an ohm meter (usaohmmeters.com), and THE BEST batteries you can buy (Sony VTC4/5). Also check out some building videos and practice a while. Eventually you'll be building some very nice looking coils. Good Luck
