So Cal
I've put the red mini in my shopping cart at least a half dozen times this week trying to justify the purchase! So, hmmm, I think I NEED one - right? Ok, so if/when I actually hit that 'submit' button, is there anything else I need to put in the cart along with the starter kit? Oh, and, if I get the red, I should upgrade to the blue led?

I'm not sure what the starter kit includes...but batteries, maybe an extended cap to be able to run the larger 18490 batteries, a quality battery charger, and LOTS OF juice!!!

Everyone doesn't "need" a Provari...but I've never heard anyone regret buying one...so I can almost bet you won't regret if you decide to make the purchase.

I would highly suggest the Wide End Cap. It could be just me, but I have a fear of knocking over my Provari, so hopefully this will help. (have a new puppy and a six year old, and a clumsy wife, hehe)
I ordered a pro ring from Loki as well, to ensure my tank looks fitted.
So I took a look at the starter kit, and realized you are better off buying the red Mini separate, and then your batteries, tank, and charger from other vendors. I got an XTAR WP2 charger from Amazon (prime) for less than anywhere else. It comes with an ac adapter and a car charger, and it recharges A LOT faster than my cheapy chinese charger I had from long ago.
Regarding batteries, I am always afraid I am going to get knock offs, so I have been sticking with RTD. Their prices are competitive, and their batteries have all be authentic for me.
For tanks, especially starting out, please learn from my mistakes. I have spent a bit of money in the past few weeks trying this out, that out, etc. I can't recommend the iClear 30B from Innokin. It's a dual coil, bottom feeding clearomizer. It vapes very nice, with great taste and vapor production, and is reasonably priced at $16 at Mountain Oak Vapors.

All that said, you can't really go wrong with the starter kit. I don't really like the protank 2 now that I have the iClear 30B, but it's not terrible. (do NOT take out the extra flavor wick unless you rebuild your coil, it will simply make your protank 2 a gurgletank 2)

Gluck, and welcome!

Spare batteries and a battery box. If you plan on using the kit's ProTank 2 as your primary topper, add a pack or two of replacement coil heads. I have ProVaris with red, green and blue displays. The blue is definitely easier on the eyes and easier to read, unless you're outside with the display in full direct sun.

as stated, not everyone needs a Provari, but you won't regret it either. Worth every penny.

See why I say this here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vamo/505053-vamo-re-review.html

the colors will depend on your preference. I got White with Blue LED

Get the batteries, and only use AW IMR's even if someone else recommends something different, I wouldn't use anything else.
you should get 2 18350's and 2 18490's with the extender cap for starters, get the extra warranty.
I am sure the Charger is fine.
But I got this charger at RTDVapor before my Provari, and don't regret it.

Xtar VP1 - Battery Chargers.

Add the following,.,.,
Noalox Thread Lubricant
Cleaning Kit

If you can afford it,, I splurged on this, and don't regret it,
ProVari Pass Thru Home Kit
ProVari Pass Thru Extension Cable
ProVari Pass Thru Elbow Connector

I am also looking at Provari Wraps, in several different locations.... not getting one now, But I know I probably might.

If you plan on using the Mini when out and about, you'll likely need to bring spare batteries in plastic battery cases. RTD is an excellent resource for batteries, chargers, and battery cases. Getting the battery extension cap for $25 with your starter kit will give you the option to use the 18490 size batteries for longer battery time.

You won't be disappointed. I am loving every draw I take off this thing.

When you do get your first Provari, it is like PBusardo says.
Now, I get it. Now, it makes since.

It's been about 4 days now, and I have not put it down yet.

I have a juice I make called Brandy Vapes. It's a Brandy with a Cream Sugar
It tastes really really good in this thing, like candy.
I haven't even let it steep yet, and it does get better with steeping
I am going to have to make a bigger batch.

Didn't taste like this on the Vamo, in the same Vivi Nova Mini. Not even close.

Looks like you've gotten a lot of great responses so I won't repeat them. I'll just add that I recently got a standard red one with the blue LED. My other 2 have red LED's. I really really like the blue though. Here's a pic if it helps. I feel like the blue is easier on my eyes for some reason. Good luck choosing! You can't go wrong either way:)

Thanks! Ok. I didn't know if the minis were different in that you still had the option to choose. I'd started a thread to help me decide which color LED to get too. Initially I thought they were just out due to the cyber Monday sale & then I accepted that Provape had already decided for me:laugh: I hope you love yours as much as I love mines! The pic really doesn't do it justice.
